I visited an a quiet hurricane threat night but was underwhelmed by the food. I thought the wings very dry and tough. Speed of food coming was super fast. Service was ok but nothing special. Plus notes were that the large selection of drinks. Plenty to choose from. Another plus was the good screens everywhere for sport.Probably not somewhere I'll visit again but it's ok for sport and a drink.

It was Mothers Day and we decided to go to Hooters for lunch. Hooters offered a free wings to mothers with the purchase of a drink. This place was busy this day. People were barely able to get through the outside doors. People waiting said that the hostess had not been at the station for about 20 minutes but had been previously taking names. We wrote our name on the list because after a few minutes it was difficult to say who was next. The hostess finally came back after pulling double duty elsewhere in the building. She said she was about to seat everyone. There were several empty tables and two parties at a time she seated everyone. The waitress appeared at the table immediately. We ordered. We each drank one of the coldest beers in Houma. The wings were a little slower coming to the table but were good. For a cold beer and wings in Houma this is the best place to go. Several good beers on draft and more bottled. Not the perfect place but not bad.Thank you so much for spending that special day with us! We appreciate your honest review.
Stopped by while in Houma visiting friends. Large selection of very tasty daiquiris and draft beer. You can sit down and enjoy your drink, shoot a game of pool, or try your luck on the joker poker machines. If you like daiquiris I recommend you stop by and try one.

All of the Walk Ons are unique, great friendly staff, great food, wonderful environment. All the way to the southern most corner of Louisiana in this town, they beat all hospitality.I love everything they serve. Today I had the Shrimp PoBoy fully dressed. I had some of their interesting serving. Just a caution, their food is a bit spicy as you would expect in a louisiana restaurant.Gotta love it. We love our Drew Brees and we love his restaurant

We visited New Orleans and took a weekend day trip outside of the city for a swamp tour. On the way back, it was way past our lunch hour, so we stopped in Houma. Bilello's was easy to find, and the adjacent fenced parking was very convenient. Even though we arrived a half hour before the afternoon closing, we were welcomed and promptly served. I had a local bottle of beer, and ordered an Italian poboy. Based on our server's recommendation, I also chose the potato salad. The beer arrived with an ice cold mug. The sandwich was a delicious thick stack of meat and cheese (salami, ham, provolone) with an olive dressing which was not overpowering. The potato salad had a mustard and pickles flavor that was refreshing. The service was great, and our server even provided recommendations for New Orleans entertainment and night life.

The ambiance and service were excellent. We enjoyed talking to the fine folks working the bar that day. Unfortunately, I found the beer a bit inconsistent. The weiss was disappointing. It had the right color and mouthfeel and that pleasing bubblegum note that weiss beers have (the yeast, I think), but I could not help but think something was off about it (the malt maybe? I'm not sure). Whatever it was, it was not to my taste. To be fair, I am persnickety about weiss beer, so don't take my word for it try it yourself. You might like it. Thankfully, the cream ale was much better and provides an excellent starting point for those used to Bud or Miller and who want to take their first steps into the wonderful world of independent craft beer. So, one out of two with many more to try. I guess I'll be back.
