Nothing special about this location just an average place serving breakfast in the morning. I seated myself. Someone came over and asked if I wanted to drink. After delivering my water see took my order. She was friendly and efficient. Ate my my breakfast and left. I'd eat there again.
I went here for my lunch/dinner break from work. It was late afternoon and they were not busy. The service was good and the counter person friendly. I dinned in and had a quiet meal. Nothing to rave about just average food to fill your hunger. Good place for a sandwich.
Stopped in for drinks and dessert late on a Saturday night. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! Very friendly bar and wait staff! Duo playing in the next room made for a nice atmosphere but not too loud for conversation. Definitely a place I will return to.
Since I'm in Louisiana for awhile I'm going to try different places to eat. I selected this location based on some old reviews and decided to check it out. This is a combination drive-thru and walk-in restaurant where you order from the counter like any fast food establishment. I ordered my omelet and side of hash browns which they delivered to my table within 5 minutes. The restaurant is showing its age and clean. The posted picture gives you an idea of bad presentation when breakfast was served. The food was hot and tasted fine. I will not return since I prefer a sit down, menu ordered breakfast that comes on a plate with metal forks and spoons. I hope someone else can review their other items.

My husband and I went to Mikes for dinner last night. He ordered the large fried fish plate and I ordered the seafood platter (no oysters, extra fish),we both ordered a stuffed baked potato, sweet tea and a trip to the salad bar. Our server was prompt and always had a smile on her face. We never wanted for anything. Mikes was packed, especially on a Friday night. It didn't take long for our food. It came out steaming hot and just awesome! The food is the best and the servers here work to make your visit memorable. You will definitely come back for the food and wonderful hospitality.

Located in the heart of downtown Amite, The Boston Restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes in a restored historic building which was once the home of the original "Boston Restaurant" in the 1800s. A local hotspot, our seafood, steak, and sushi is
All around awesome resturant/bar with a great atmosphere. Everything we got was delicious. Oysters, fried green beans, and the crawfish and pepper jack cheese dip appetizers were great. We had the CJ Roll and the Boston Roll and both were great (preferred the CJ roll). We had the Black Angus Ribeye (one of the best Iâve ever had), the steak stir fry, and The Who dat Cajun pasta. Everything was great and generous portions. Service was great and managers were very polite as well. When dropping off our sushi, one piece fell onto the tray. The manager immediately brought it to the back and had them make an entire new roll, even though we insisted it was ok. Talk about great customer service! Parking is easy and close. Wish we would have saved room for dessert, as the Happy Ending looked out of this world. Itâs our new go to spot!
