My husband and I were looking for a good restaurant near Audubon Park and after driving past Taqueria Corona, decided to give it a try. I had the 4 taco combo (pulled pork, philly cheesesteak, shrimp and fish) and he had the breakfast burrito. It was AWESOME! Friendly staff and fast service. Also, more affordable than other taco establishments in the area. We loved it and can hardly wait to go back!

Titoâs was an excellent and unexpected dining experience. They serve a fresh, innovative selection of Peruvian dishes we hadnât expected on the New Orleans restaurant scene..Our group of six shared several menu items allowing us all to sample many of Peruvian dishes Titoâs offers. The Nikkei Ceviche (Tuna) was a delicious appetizer, but our group also raved about the very tender grilled octopus and the hanger steak. Our entrees included a delicious pan seared black drum with a very nice Aji cream sauce. The Arroz con Mariscos was similar to a paella, full of shrimp, octopus, mussels and several other seafood goodies. The beef tips was also a good entree.Service was very good. The bar was very busy serving a variety of specialty drinks. Pricing is very reasonable. This is definitely a restaurant we will try again.

This place is delicious. The burritos at easing and the size of a small child, so you wonât be disappointed. I had the tacos, equally amazing, and a salad which was great too. Everything I ate was phenomenal , even the chips and guac. Go here.

Small, crowded and loud. Made conversation tough. An estimated wait time of 30 â 45 minutes was actually 20 minutes- and that is worth an extra bubble right there. Interesting food options from Columbia. The service was a bit spotty, and ordering their featured plate, sort of a combo plate, had a strip steak as the center of the entrée. The steak was literally unable to be cut wit the serrated knife provided. After a fair amount of effort locating a server, we got the steak replaced. The second one was better, but still pretty tough. I realize that it is not a great cut of beef, but it should be able to be chewed. Anyhow, I would probably try it again, but order differently.

We spent the afternoon walking Magazine Street and needed a break. Baru Bistro was never our destination, just happened to be along the way. We grabbed a table street side and ordered drinks and food. So glad we stopped. Though our Capirinhas were not traditional (pineapple is not a traditional ingredient), they were delicious. Their ceviche was not traditional either but was good in its own right. We all felt Baru Bistro was a great place to take a break from our travels.

What a delightful evening! I went with some old friends, one of whom knows the owner of this establishment, and we sampled many of the dishes. We shared the ceviche & guacamole, which were perfectly done. The owner described an extremely high quality steak he had procured, but I opted for the Gran Vegetariano, with one pupusa, one enchilada and one sweet corn tamale. The black beans were well seasoned and I didn't miss the meat. This also came with sweet, delicious platanos. However, my friends' pupusa samplings, from classic to vegetables & seafood, were very tempting. The meal was very filling and I was able to have a meal in leftovers. The owner, who is a colorful character in his own right, brought us a refreshing watermelon salad with champagne vinegar and citrus dressing for dessert. I'm not sure it's a regular offering, but this seems like the kind of place where surprises happen regular at the chef's inspiration. Definitely make you're way there!
