In our birthplace of New Orleans, we were so often named "Best Pizza" in various independent surveys, that locals created a nickname for our Restaurant and began refering to us as 'The PIE'. Proudly serving Authentic Italian Cuisine since 1992, and since
Over all gross so-called âItalian Foodâ experience. It is one step above the chain pizzerias, but thatâs not saying much. Admittedly, Iâm a spoiled pizza snob and have yet to find truly good pizza south of Queens, NYC or Northern NJ. The Pizza Crust, while warm and fluffy, tasted like yeast...yuck. Mozzarella overly processed, double yuck, sauce is uneventful, meatballs were old and crusty. My husbandâs salad was nice looking and I saw some soups that looked appetizing but we did not try them. The bread sticks were a hard flattened mound of the yeasty pizza dough dabbed with a pinch of olive oil. I really loved that the lunch specials were such a bargain that they appeared to draw in a lot of seniors for a nice outing. Hence the second star of my rating. The first star is for the salads.

Olive Garden is american style food. Not even close to Italian. Not fresh with lots of flavor. Our salad was head lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and a few pickled peppers. My shrimp scampi was tasteless and veggies sliced into small bite size chunks: shrimp was okay. My wife's lasagna sauce was tasteless, probably held too long. Service was okay. Probably will avoid Olive Garden.

Always looking for a new place we decided to give it a go. We started off with the Frattelli's Shrimp Dip which was quite good, it had some large shrimp and the bread served was good for dipping. We had the two specials of the day, mine was the Trio which was lasagna, cannelloni and manicotti...it was ok. My wife had the other special but I can't recall what it was called and the receipt doesn't list the items. at any rate it was two large chicken breasts is what looked like some kind of orange looking sauce over angle hair pasta. She took half of it home and ate it cold and liked it better than at the restaurant. If and when we go back I'll probably try the pizza. One thing is I'd call this cheap eats and the staff is friendly.

Family owned Cafe' in Olde Towne Slidell. We have Italian Classic and Local Favorite Dishes. We Offer a great Breakfast Daily starting at 7am along with Lunch starting at 10am. We are open for dinner service Thursday and Friday from 4-8pm
This is a very nice, cosy restaurant. Food is very tasty and big potions. The chef does a great job and has a appetizing menu. Pricing is perfect and like I said, the potions are more than enough. Touch of Italy is a hidden gem.

Visited with friends on May 31 to watch an LSU baseball game. Service was ok, but friendly. Even though they have a "Full Bar" they admit they are not very good in making mixed drinks, and it showed. The margaritas were awful, sent them back. Good selection of craft beers only, served cold. No pitchers. Good wine selection. Very accommodating as to the channels we wanted to watch. As a group to watch a sports event I don't think we would return, because of their small selections of mixed drinks, but I most likely would return for pizza, which was good. No large pizzas.
