If your ever passing thru Bogalusa LA don't waste your time and money at the Bogalusa grill. Food quality and lack of food on buffet not to mention no desserts and broken ice cream machine. When asked if they had any more food the waitress said they were out. This has happened to more than one person as I have spoke to a few that have said the same things. So eat elsewhere you will thank me for the advise.

Only two families have owned this restaurant, and it has been at this location for 50 years. It is the old-style drive-in restaurant. While they don't have carhops and don't deliver to your car, you can easily walk up to the window and order off the sizable menu. Their shakes/malts are the best. Their chili is homemade daily.

Bogalusa Smoked Poboys has smoked rump roast poboys which are overstuffed with tender shredded meat then slathered with gravy. The taste is out of this world. If you have not tried this or other dishes served there, you are missing out!

The hamburgers are really freshly done and satisfying for the meat lovers. Recommend the 1/3 pound or 1/2 pound burgers. The breakfast biscuits are really delicious and generally you can enjoy either for under $5 with available coupons in the local paper
