I stop at the Pitt Grill often. It isn't a fancy place but the place is clean, the food is very tasty with generous portions. The wait staff is so nice. It is my go to place when hungry and just want a comfort meal. Thanks for making us one of your go-to stops when you're hungry, Mark! I attended a meeting next door and walked here for lunch. I observed the cook grab bloody hamburger patties, buns fries and chicken fried steak all with the same hand and no gloves. Once I observed this I cancelled my food order and left. It's amazing this place hasn't killed anyone with that level of cross contamination. Please invest in sending your employees to ServSafe and buy them some gloves.

My husband and I had breakfast there this morning. My review is mixed because the food was excellent, though barely warm, but the service was poor and slow. Eggs cooked to exact request, grits were creamy without lumps, bacon was smoky and crispy to perfection and the biscuit tasted very fresh. Dark coffee freshly brewed. Very nice little restaurant but the poor service and greasy, slippery floors will probably influence my next choice for a breakfast place.
