Reviews on Steakhouse food in Monroe, Louisiana, United States. Monroe (historically French: Poste-du-Ouachita) is the eighth-largest city in the U.S. state of Louisiana. Mayor Jamie Mayo, however, maintains that the Monroe population is more than 50,000 and indicated that he will pursue a continued challenge to the count.

Doeâs steaks are amazing. We like the filets best. John Michael was our server and he was most attentive. Every thing was super, from the tamale appetizer, salad and steaks. Cooked to perfection and so tender. Even the steamed veggies are so good. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back for more of your excellence, in a beautiful building too!

LongHorn Steakhouse has been one of our favorites in Monroe. Unfortunately it seems to be on the decline in quality and service. At our last visit I ordered the ribeye steak and my wife the grilled chicken and strawberry salad. They never brought my salad and they served my wife a piece of grilled chicken on a plate with no salad. Who serves a steak before the salad and in this case no salad at all. They brought my wife the salad and she cut the chicken up. They apologized but the damage was done. The ambiance of eating out was ruined with these simple unnecessary mistakes. We have seen this coming over our last few visits. I hope that they recognize that service like our last visit loses customers. They have already lost a considerable number of customers to Texas Roadhouse and Outback. I hope that they wake up and get back to the quality and service that they used to be.
