Me and my husband were visiting the area around lunch time. We saw our regular options (BK, McD's) and decided to try a local place. Best decision of the trip.We are from South Louisiana, so when we eat at a Cajun restaurant, we know good food when we eat it. We were NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was perfect, the lunch special very south Louisiana! That's what we ordered. Fried fish, white beans and rice, shrimp stew, French bread and desert----all for around $10. The food was great! Seasoned perfectly and we could tell it wasn't cooked until we ordered it.The service was great. Refills kept coming! The bathroom was extremely clean and well stocked! We WILL be returning to this place!

We love this place and drive all the way from north of Houston just to visit here and indulge. Our favorite is the bisque but rarely is it on the menu which is a disappointment. Otherwise, the food is great. The homemade rolls are delicious. The service is great. Hi, BedCab.We're humbled that you drive all the way from Houston to visit our casino and restaurants. Thank you for the kind review and we hope to see you again soon.

The Yellow Bowl

We stopped at the Yellow Bowl last night and we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately and greeted by the server quickly. The food is predominantly seafood. We had soft shell crab, crawfish étouffée, and a seafood salad. Both of our meals arrived in a timely manner and was very good. The restaurant was very clean. Portion size was large. Overall, it was very good and we will definitely return.
