Very unpretentious eatery. It is located next to a gas station and some will be turned off by the location and the appearance of restaurant. For everyone else, if you give this location a try you will not be let down. They have a set daily menu with many wonderful home cooked options offered each day. The portions are generous, you can select from hot meals pre-made or they will make you a po-boy as you wait.Be adventurous and give this place a try!

Stopped there during long layover in NOLA. Arrived around brunch time so went with BBQ Shrimp Omelet. Easily best thing I've had at an airport. As someone else mentioned, my expectations for airport food are very low so I didn't even take picture before digging in. Really good. We also ordered Shrimp & Grits. Also good. A little pricey but airport food is always overpriced. Oh, and make sure you order some French bread!

We were meeting some friends at the Harbor Seafood & Oyster Bar. There was parking in front. There was also an outdoor patio, though because it was a bit over 100 degrees, we opted to eat inside. We were seated immediately. Our server, Kelly S., was there with specials and took our drink order. We ordered a mai tai and a tropical breeze to start, especially since, we were staying just down the street at the nearby La Quinta Inn. For appetizers, we decided on 1/2 dozen of the char-grilled oysters, an order of jalapeno poppers and the 1/2 blackened & 1/2 fried alligator. We also ordered fried frog legs, the orange roughy entree, a small green salad and a cup of clam chowder. Everything tasted great. Kelly S. was wonderful, personable and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

A true Cajun joint in looks, smell and taste. We had the fried oyster poboy. Nice, big oysters with a great taste. Onion rings and fried okra for appetizers. Both very good. I'm sure we will return to try out more of the dishes.
This is a small family owned seafood shop that has a wide variety of fresh seafood and catfish form Des Allmendes, great place good prices and lovely people.

Decided to stop by for a quick lunch with my son. Ordered a shrimp po boy and sausage in bun with fries. The fries came out cold so I returned the for a fresh order. They refused to send me a fresh order! Wow, the waitress was a little embarrassed. She told me they wanted to give me retried fries but she refused! I appreciate her honesty but will never return! I understand the value of a dollar and an honest review! I will never return! Thanks!

Down home funky little local joint with amazing food! The crawfish were perfectly seasoned and the shrimp po boy was absolutely crave-worthy deliciousness! The bread was soft and crunchy fresh French loaf loaded with shrimp! The onion rings looked and smelled delightful, but we were already full. Miss Pat is a DOLL, and the whole operation makes you feel like you are visiting with family. Absolutely worth the drive.

It was terrific! The prices were in line with other places, but the food at this rather nondescript-looking place was great. Well seasoned fried seafood platters, with corn balls, okra, shrimp, catfish, oysters, stuffed crab (my friends had the soft-shell crab) and potatoes (they had fried & I had baked). Large portions, home-made tartar sauce, free dinner salad (with egg). All good, and highly recommended!

Our daughter flew in from New York and my wife picked her up at the airport and both met me here for lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy with various Christmas parties going on, but we still got good and timely service. We shared an order of Onion Rings and a small cup of Crab & Brie dip for appetizers (both very good). My wife & daughter split the Les Miles Salad (with the added crab meat on top). This worked out fine since the salad is large and much too much for either one of them alone. I had the Eggplant Maurapas ( a very nice sliced breaded eggplant over top of angel hair pasta and shrimp & crab on top of that) - delicious.Christine did a nice job for us even though she and the others working there today were spread pretty thin.A nice break from my normal eat rabbit food at my desk lunch.Thank you for the review of Ormond Plantation Restaurant. Yes, you visited our establishment at the one of the busiest times of the year! We thank you for your understanding and patience. Seafood is fresh and delicious. Order the boiled crawfish and boiled shrimp if they have it. They were out of crab the day we went. Potatoes and corn are delicious, too. Small restaurant, so seating a big group can be challenging if they are busy, but they do everything they can to get you in and make it a good experience. Great service. Great Food. Definitely worth the out of the way drive!
