Reviews on Cafe food in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. With a little bit of this and a little bit of that all mixed together with flair and panache, beautifully vibrant New Orleans has made the most of marks left by whomever was calling the shots during whatever era over the past few centuries. Hardly a hodgepodge, the result of such a distinctive blend of cultures is an enchanting cityscape, a set of unique traditions that continuously delight the world, and a jaunty way of living that must be experienced to be appreciated.

At Jimmy J's Café, we make everything from scratch using the freshest ingredients. It takes a while longer, but we know it makes all the difference. We are one of the French Quarter's best kept secrets. Ask anyone from the Big Easy and they will tell you
Loved this place. Went twice in the short time we were visiting. Great service and exceptional food. Awesome Bloody Mary's as well. A little pricey but way better than other more popular places. Banana Bread French toast was to die for!Wonderful waitress - Deserie!

The food and service were excellent. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but it was totally worth it.

We live nearby and stopped by three other places that had lines a mile long, before remembering this place (it's a little obscure at the moment because of nearby construction).Got seated quickly, good service (thank you, Maureen!), nice selection (breakfast and everything is available all the time) and good food at a good price.I had the crab cakes egg Benedict ($14) and it was delicious and lots of food! Wifey had the southern breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns (huge plate!) and grits (about the same price) and also a lot of good food. My wife is a grits expert and very particular about them and she said these were great. Clean bathrooms and nice atmosphere. They also have outside seating and great coffee (always a plus!).Will definitely return again!

A neighborhood cafe specializing in Breakfast, Lunch & Brunch. Breakfast served all day, every day! Conveniently located in the Central Business District, one block from the Canal Streetcar line, and just steps to the French Quarter and Warehouse District
I don't normally eat a restaurant when I have to wait a long time to get seated. Im glad I made an exception here. The food and drinks were great. Our server however made my day. She was awesome. she works very hard and was on her game on service and attitude. I would not hesitate to eat here again. I will definitlely ask for field rose to be our server. see ya soon I'm so happy to hear that you Fieldrose was able to make you feel right at home! Cheers!

Located in Bywater area of New Orleans about 2 miles east of the French Quarter that attracts the hipster crowd. A chalk board lists menu items consisting of fresh local produce and healthy ingredients, a divergence from deep-fried heavy Southern foods. S
Loved this place! It's so cute! Love the art on the walls and they have this amazing little corner with a TON of children's books!!!!!! The food was exactly what we needed to start a full day in NOLA. I had the green eggs and Ham on the everything bagel. It was delicious!! We also tried the house juices while there. Definitely worth it! Staff was nice and friendly! Will be going back here when in the area again.

The Two Chicks Cafe is somewhat difficult to find as it is located inside the building at 901 Convention Center Blvd, but we were glad we eventually found it. The "Under the Sea Omelet" was fantastic! It contained crab meat, shrimp, brie, bell pepper and green onion. The "Crab Cake Benedict "was also very tasty. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she took good care of us. The cafe is a great place to have breakfast!

Truly great option for breakfast in the Garden District. Huge menu with plenty of healthy options. I had the scrambled eggs with peppers and onions and it was the perfect way to start the day.

Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced and the service was super! We had a selection, omelette, eggs with salmon, and the fried pancake balls. The grits were as good as we have ever had, even in Texas. Small place but worth a short wait.
