We were in NOLA for a week and frankly, coming from Montreal which has excellent restaurants, we did not have high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a very very good restaurant in NOLA among other good restaurants : delicious food, efficient and kind service and fair pricing. We recommend the ceviche, the fish and scallop signature dish and the coconut sorbet. We saved the best for last and left NOLA with some wonderful souvenirs of its culinary scene.

Our goal on our trip to New Orleans was to find delicious vegan food. This was our first stop - yum! Eat here! We loved our meals.

We had seen St James Cheese Company mentioned in many places, but had not gotten to explore it, until our December trip. What a great âfind.âWe were meeting family for a lunch, and wanted to bring both cheese and wine, and were able to do it all, in one stop, and not too far from our hotel, plus on the way to Metairie. Even in the Central Business District, we found legal parking near-by, and within two blocks of St James Cheese Company. We spent some time talking with the server, who knew her cheese, plus the offerings in the store. Once our selections had been made, I was able to pair those cheeses with some of the wines in the shop. While the wine selection was not overly large, they did have a lot of cheese-friendly options, and several wines, with which I was not familiar â but with a few recommendations, I have to say that all paired very well. The shop also has a small counter area, but we were just buying to take away, for consumption elsewhere.I am surprised that it took us so many visits, before we finally stopped into St James Cheese Company, but we WILL be back!

What a variety of salads, appetizers and entrees! Something for everyone ... even kids. I love their seafood ...pork chop entree is one of my favorites. Servers are always friendly and helpful. It is the place the locals frequent and visitors need to know about

Fine comfort food, made from scratch. From our kitchenâs scratch cooking to the rustic farmhouse feel of the space, the beauty is in the details at Red Dog Diner. The deeply grained wood, the exposed brick walls, the handcrafted communal tables and benche
Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch during rainstorm . It is eclectic inside and a bit noisy at times . The pimento cheese appetizer was very good and a large portion . The Veggie chili was good with a biscuit that tasted Great with the pimento cheese . Only complaint about chili was it was a bit salty . The Reuben sandwich was also huge with a focaccia like bread . Service was quick considering it was pretty busy .. lots of shops nearby as well .Thanks for leaving a review! We appreciate your feedback. We hope you will come back and see us again soon.

Went with friends and all had great food. Highlight was the crawfish cream sauce over pasta. Snapper great. Bread pudding was disappointing. Excellent friendly service. Definitely recommend.

NOLA for 4 days. We ate here twice. BEST FOOD we had and we went to a lot of good places! Literally every thing we had was delicious! I can't imagine that you could go wrong with any item on the menu but we had: pastrami w/sauerkraut sandwich, hot boudin sausage, Cajun sausage, a porchetta sandwich (sadly a special and not on the regular menu but...to die for), black eyed pea chili. The drinks were great too. The space is really pleasant and, even though the seating is mostly at high tops or a the bar, its a comfortable place to be. Great service too. We didn't try Cochon (the main restaurant) this time but we definitely will when we return to New Orleans.

somewhat hesitant to call any New Orleans eatery my favorite, but this small establishment is that place...great service, delicious food, solid wine list...i've been here three times and have never been disappointed...this time around i had the blackened scallops and they were prepared to perfection! The flash-cooked caesar salad was uniquely outstanding.Thank you very much for this review, Steve. It means so much to us to be considered your favorite! We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to let us know how much you've enjoyed dining with us, and hope to have the pleasure of serving you again many more times!

The Two Chicks Cafe is somewhat difficult to find as it is located inside the building at 901 Convention Center Blvd, but we were glad we eventually found it. The "Under the Sea Omelet" was fantastic! It contained crab meat, shrimp, brie, bell pepper and green onion. The "Crab Cake Benedict "was also very tasty. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she took good care of us. The cafe is a great place to have breakfast!

This cafe has the best breakfast in New Orleans and is worth the wait. I had the banana French toast and it was awesome...no syrup needed. Every one in my family had something different and said their food was great.
