The former 1910 pharmacy in the neighborhood has amazing history turning our excellent chefs in the last 30 years and it can be experienced. It is so Nola that it does not even need a sign out front. The quality and service was impeccable and would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a NOLA dinner experience that is not touristy!

This is a NOLA classic with perfect service and perfect food. We had a reservation and were seated right away despite it being crowded. The drinks were perfect and the started came quick and were some of the best. The Red Fish was perfectly prepared and I even enjoyed some bread pudding. We even saw the Manning's!

Had lunch there on 8/12. It was OK. It wasn't busy and I thought it took a long time to fill our order, which was 2 dogs and an order of tots. I also thought 8.50 was a little pricey for a fancy dog, but they were good. I would go back, but not in a rush. Funky but clean.Thank you for the feedback on your ticket time. We've gotten to work on this issue, and we're confident our team will improve. And thank you for saying we're "funky but clean!" That's a great compliment! Thanks again!

Bayou des Familles, a lazy waterway home to many alligators, turtles, egrets and other wildlife, takes center stage as our restaurant's design provides its diners with a natural picture show. It's in this setting where friends and family unite to experien
We drove the very short distance here after the swamp boat tour and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Our window seats looked over a sunny area of the swamp where we watched birds and something meandering through the flowering plants. The food was delicious and service was great. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

St. James is a meat and cheese market in Uptown that offers sandwiches, cheese plates, salads, and other light dishes. Their cheese selection is outstanding, even for New Orleans. You can either select your cheeses and meats or allow the employees to craft a plate for you. They have porch seating, interior seating, and an outdoor courtyard, offering a variety of atmospheres and experiences depending on the weather. The cheese plates can be a bit expensive for just one person. In my opinion, the best thing to do here is to come with three or four other people and all share a big cheese plate and a bottle of wine before a bigger dinner. It is very reasonably priced for this.

Upperline Restaurant is New Orleans, LA's local haven where tasty Louisiana cuisine, serious wine, and Creole hospitality is always served.
Owner Joanne is a treasure and her restaurant is to die for. Foie gras c'est magnifique, peartinis delicious, veal medalions in a sumptuous sauce, duck with a garlic/port sauce...yum. Our waiter Gabriel was fabulous. Away from the hubub it's worth the trip as Mr. Deniro and Mr. Bezos have found it too.

Fine comfort food, made from scratch. From our kitchenâs scratch cooking to the rustic farmhouse feel of the space, the beauty is in the details at Red Dog Diner. The deeply grained wood, the exposed brick walls, the handcrafted communal tables and benche
Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch during rainstorm . It is eclectic inside and a bit noisy at times . The pimento cheese appetizer was very good and a large portion . The Veggie chili was good with a biscuit that tasted Great with the pimento cheese . Only complaint about chili was it was a bit salty . The Reuben sandwich was also huge with a focaccia like bread . Service was quick considering it was pretty busy .. lots of shops nearby as well .Thanks for leaving a review! We appreciate your feedback. We hope you will come back and see us again soon.

Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced and the service was super! We had a selection, omelette, eggs with salmon, and the fried pancake balls. The grits were as good as we have ever had, even in Texas. Small place but worth a short wait.
