Found this restuarant while traveling for business, and I so glad I did. When I walked in I immediately got a cool diner vibe. My husband and I both order the Dee's burger. I added fried zucchini as a side and my husband got the onion rings, and of course we shared. I loved every bite of everything. The burger was exactly what I wanted from a diner. We also shared a piece of peanut butter pie. It was really good, but nothing really to rave about. The only down side was we both waned bottle water and they only had one bottle. But that was definitely not a deal breaker.
I definitely recommend eating here if you are in the Louisa area.

Wanted to find a quaint restaurant to eat breakfast before an 8 hour drive. Stumbled upon the Down Home Grill and was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was attentive and both our breakfast entrees were wonderful Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Giovanni's has the best Antipasto Salad and dressing I have ever eaten. The staff is friendly. Prices are good and the wait is short. I eat there every time I am in Louisa!

I never give bad reviews but I absolutely had to on this one. I visited this establishment for lunch with 2 co-workers. The service was terrible. A young man tried very hard but was awful. My co worker ordered nachos as an appetizer and there was 2 inches of milky water in the bottom. The chips were soggy with the mystery juice. I ordered a salad and it took forever! Then I had ordered pulled chicken and got pork. I hate pork and they just scraped the pork off the plate and put chicken on. There was still bits of pork and pork juice on my plate under the dry chicken. The waiter said it was his fault, he just threw it all together!! My co-worker got the pork and it was so dry she was choking on it!!!! I needed butter and asked 3 different employees them finally a nice girl came out of the back and made the other girl get my butter. The food was terrible. The service was terrible. My lunch was 15.00 that I felt cheated when I paid. The worst is that all of us had terrible tummy issues (mind was worse!!!) and I was sick and spent the rest of my workday in the bathroom. Never again. I was so excited to find a new place but this was a major disappointment. This place needs a major overhaul.

Good variety on the menu and large portions for the price. Salsa is yummy and plentiful. The white cheese dip is great on burritos. Kids menus have both american food and more authentic choices. Service is prompt and polite.

Interesting place. In an old Long John Silvers. A bar has been added. The owner sings to patrons then he disappears to cook your food. Ordered steak. Thinner cut but cooked right and good flavor. Boneless wings, baked potato, onion rings were very good. Prices are fair.

Stopped in and picked up a pizza for the first time last month. Restaurant was very dirty and a thick cloud of smoke hung in the air. An elderly woman who appeared to own or manage the place was chain smoking behind the counter. The pizza was greasy and made of cheap ingredients and though I ate the pizza at home, I swear I could taste cigarette smoke in the ingredients. Will not be back, ever.

Not too many convenient fast food locations along Route 23 in Kentucky. Service was quick and friendly. Food was mostly hot and fresh.....fries could have been fresher. Not really a fan of Wendy's fries. The chili was great. Dining area was very neat. Bathroom was clean. Will stop again as I drive up and back to South Carolina every week.
