A lovely few days staying at this charming old pub. Polperro is a beautiful fishing village overlooking an old harbour - itâs like a Cornish Brigadoon! The noughts and crosses pub is authentically quaint. The barman is friendly and it is run by a lovely couple who are so welcoming . We had huge breakfasts which were adapted to our requests and a lovely supper . Our room was very comfortable, clean and freshly decorated. Will certainly return - a super pub in a beautiful setting .

Here at The Arch we pride ourselves on making as much as we possibly can so it is freshly prepared for you; tasty small plates, mains and delicous desserts
Selected The Arch whilst browsing and booked a table for the next evening, We were treated to a great experience by the staff who were very accommodating. The food was excellent. Pork in cider was so tasty and the cheesy mash was the absolute best ever. The cheesecake was so light and tasty I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Chanced the Black Swan for our last meal of our family holiday. Lovely place, really busy with a lovely atmosphere. We were served by a lovely lad called Adam, very shy but very polite. He got our order spot on and the food was very nice. Good sized portions, a little too much for us!! Will be back next year.

We enjoyed our meal here this evening. We weren't even going to eat here but another restaurant over the road card machine wasn't working. I had a nice cajan chicken pizza and the wife had lasagne and chips. Reasonable price and nice atmosphere. Cheers

THE AWARD WINNING PLOUGH, DULOE. GREAT FOOD SIMPLY PREPARED WELL. The Plough, Duloe, a delightful Cornish pub celebrating the finest seasonal produce from the surrounding area. Found in the lovely Cornish village of Duloe, offering a warm and relaxed atmo
The plough was highly recommended to us as somewhere we could eat with our dogs. It was a pleasant pub, the staff were good and the food was good. If youre in the area or passing by then you will get a decent meal but I would say that you will find a similar quality and style of country pub quite readily.

Some how we ended up visiting this pub twice in three days. Mainly because on our second visit we couldn't decide on anywhere else and this is the last place out of the village. The fist time we had gone was with friends who recommended it. There is nothing that stands out about the pub. It's a nice building, staff were pleasant without being to friendly and food was good without being outstanding.

Although we have visited Polperro before, sadly last year we were too late in the season to try the Green House. Fortunately this year we travelled a week earlier, and as such, particularly with our hope to try different places this year, we chose to visit the Green House for an evening meal. We were immediately welcomed by the very friendly host, and enjoyed the inviting and tasteful interior. The menu was very reasonably priced, so we decided to start with garlic baguette, which was tasty and hot - and more than enough for myself and my partner to share. As both my partner and I love seafood, and were aware we had not had our annual Polperran fish pie, we both selected this as our choice from the Green House, and weren't disappointed at all. It was also extremely nice to be offered the choice of potato or pastry lid, and we both felt the Chef went out of his way to ensure we were happy with our meals. The prices were exceptionally reasonable for Polperro, and the menu had a great selection for all. I would happily recommend the Green House, and will definitely visit again.

Home Cooked, Fresh, Locally Sourced Food. Specialising in hearty meals and fresh fish dishes.
After my previous review of the Three Pilchards when we visited Polperro in 2017, we of course wouldn't miss the opportunity to return on what is becoming an annual trip to Polperro this year. We were not disappointed, the staff, as always were very friendly, and the food was divine - both my partner and I were delighted with our choices - I selected the prawns and scallops, which were cooked wonderfully, and even my carnivorous partner chose the prawn and scallop pasta, which he really enjoyed. No trip to Polperro is complete without a visit to the Pilchards, it really is Cornish food at it's very best. I would also recommend braving the weather to sit a while in the beer garden, as the views across Polperro really are some of the best.

Multi-Award winning atmospheric, traditional Cornish pub in an excellent location with stunning sea and harbour views. Serving a fantastic range of local ales, cider and spirits. Our hearty home-cooked food is prepared fresh and includes a variety of Dail
The Blue Peter came highly recommended by our hosts back at the cottage we rented. Spot on recommendation and we arrived in perfect time. After a wet wander around Polperro, almost dead on mid-day we made our way to the Blue Peter. A proper pub, snug and atmospheric, perfect hide away on a wet October day. On arrival we ordered our drinks and went upstairs to find a table and study the menu. Five minutes later, went back to the bar and if by magic the bar was full! We both ordered fish and chips which was beautifully cooked and presented. Perfect way to dodge the weather. Highly recommended if you are visiting Polperro just hope you have better weather, but that said weather didn't spoil our visit thanks to the Blue Peter.
