Went to this place while on vacation, they specialize in Maine lobster, which is odd in Florida. On the night we were there, they were having issues with their supplier, so lobsters were $93! We did not have any. Food was good, shrimp, scallops, grouper, etc. nothing above average. It is super crowded and very noisy.

Longboat Key's first specialty ice cream shop, proudly serving gourmet handmade ice cream, milk shakes, malts, specialty sundaes and banana splits plus a wonderful selection of handmade artisan Belgium chocolates.
Tylers Ice Cream was fantastic. It just opened last August and we went there every evening of our vacation last week. Whether it's ice cream, a sunday, ice cream float, sorbet, or incredible chocolate candy, it was all good!! The staff was friendly, the place had a good feel, and the Manager, Sade, made everyone feel welcome with her enthusiasm, great happy attitude, and excellent customer service. Felt like a kid again!!

Trip Advisor didn’t let me down! Fantastic place to eat! Looks west over the inter coastal. Went without a reservation, sat at the bar for a drink (defiantly not watered down), had great service. Plenty of menu selections. (Wife does not eat seafood). Good for couples, families, or group of friends.

Get ready to eat like a Longboat King at Harry's! Harry's has a take out deli and a sit down restaurant located in the heart of Longboat Key, Florida. Our gourmet cuisine is created by Harry Christensen, our award-winning chef who's been a fine dining staple of Sarasota for over 38 years! We are minutes from St. Armand's Circle, Lido Key, Bradenton Beach, and Anna Maria Island. Please feel free to review the deli, the restaurant, or both places.
Wife and I went here with my parents. We had a good meal. Reserved a table and were promptly seated. Varied food selection which is nice. Everybody ordered something different. I had the seafood cobb salad which was loaded with good cold seafood over a...MoreThank you for the review! Stone Crab is very pricey, more so this year due to a low harvest from Irma. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the food and hope you give Harry's another try on your next visit!

Ah.maz.ing!!!!! The food options, Esp for gluten free, are out of this world (vegan also). Full dessert case of awesome gluten free desserts (cupcakes bars and pies) and a FULL gluten free menu including stuffed pastas, fried food (separate fryer), bread, pizza and pasta. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Space inside is limited and it's in a strip mall area, but WELL worth having a meal here.

Our favorite breakfast spot on LBK features a waffle and french toast selection that makes it a must visit brunch for my family when we visit LBK. Try the fruit covered waffles or raspberry french toast. The bagel and lox combo was generous, but make sure the bagel is freshly toasted. They do serve the whole table and the bagel was cold and a bit soggy when it got to me.

Maison Blanche, or “white house” in French, embodies the ultimate in sophistication; simple yet elegant, a modern but still-classic approach to dining. Maison Blanche enjoys a reputation as THE BEST restaurant in the Sarasota area and one of the finest in the state of Florida due to the consistent high quality of food and service. Both the luxurious decor and the incredibly sumptuous menu bring your dining experience to life. Every detail of your meal is approached with the sole purpose of making your evening and the occasion truly memorable. With a menu featuring only the finest cuts of meat, the freshest seafood, poultry, game and produce, renowned chef, Jose Martinez creates meals that delight the palate from start to finish.
Disappointment reigned the evening! Starting with no receptionist to greet us (or the ensuing couple who arrived for dinner); had to call the restaurant on the phone and notify the respondent that we were waiting in the sitting area by the maitre d' podium. Waited 20-25 mins for a waiter to come to take our drinks order. The meals were served on the prompt side to the restaurant's credit. Now to be objective, the food was not bad, nor was it as good as the last 4-5 French restaurants we've frequented; all the others wouild be ranked well above this restaurant. Short version of a long story: the menu pricing is not supported by, or consonant with, the quality of the food. The ambiance was 'rustic' at best; looked like the Four Season Resort rented an old storage room to the restaurant, and they slapped on some paint, brought in a few tables and chairs, put some glass stones on the table and voila! named it the very upscalish-sounding "Maison Blanche." Finally, the occasion was to honor a birthday celebrant. This was noted at the time the reservation was made, and a gentle reminder was given to the receptionist (taken aside) before we were seated; she responded, "Yes, we know!" Well, that statement meant exactly zero. No birthday wishes. No 'thanks for selecting our restaurant!' No dessert with candle (either gratis or on the bill) . Obviously, the occasion meant absolutely nothing to the restaurant. With all the disappointments, not the least was that the food was a tad above mediocre-to-average, and astoundingly over-priced, I can not recommend this restaurant and shall never, ever return. There are too many other excellent French restaurants to enjoy in the area. Advise? Save your money.

This gelato is smooth and tasty! I like to have this while walking around the circle after a nice dinner. Lots of great flavor options available. My favorite is the chocolate almond!

We have been in a few Kilwin's...Wisconsin and Michigan. So we were happy to find them in Florida. This Kilwin's is well staffed and the line moves. Worth every penny for the delicious ice cream. You will find something for every sweet tooth. I would rather pay a little more for the "good stuff" than worry about price for ice cream and chocolates. Worth every calorie too. This Kilwin's did not disappoint.
