We stayed in Hapyson Hotel for one not get with the family. Two out of three rooms had a good standard for a hotel in the VN province. They were cleaned and comfortable. But the big family room was terrible. The bathroom was incredibly smelly and there were two cockroaches in the shower. We had to ask for toilet paper and there as an hotel extension just being built on the other side of the thin wall. Staff is helpful but speaks no English whatsoever. Would I recommend it? Well once the construction is finished and the rooms are thoroughly cleaned... Maybe

Motel Hoang Gia

Really nice and clean Motel

Reviewed By flowch

We stayed spontaneously in this Motel in Long Khanh for one night, since we couldn’t continue our trip in that day. We stayed with 4 people in one room (2 king size beds), which was super convenient. And it was super clean, probably one of the cleanest rooms that we’ve stayed in Vietnam. Bathroom was good, with hot water after some minutes.

terrible for digital nomads

I stayed in this place about 2 years ago because I needed to stay near family in Long Khanh. Compared to other homestays and hotels in and around the area, this is the worst place I stayed in. I couldn't get ANY work done because the WiFi speed (I actually tested it) was NIL (zero)! Unbelievable. I tested the WiFi speed BEFORE I checked in and it was blazing fast. However, once you are a paying customer, they pull a bait-and-switch and your room's WiFi speed crawls down to at or near zero. I couldn't even browse a simple web page without waiting forever to load it, much less actually get my work done (I teach online via Skype). The only reason I got ANY work done was that I had 4G service on my smartphone and I used the hotspot feature for my laptop. To top it all off, the reason for the 1 star review (I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could) was the lady owner's "don't give a sh*t" attitude. Both my Vietnamese wife and I talked to her about this. She didn't care. Unfortunately, this is very typical of Vietnam. If you don't like the food, service, or stay, then tough. You still have pay in full. But other hotels and homestays in the area were much better than this place. At least in other places the WiFi is fairly strong and reliable so I had no reason to complain. The fact that I actually remember what a horrible this place was 2 years after the fact should tell you something. STAY AWAY!
