Milan is the prime draw in Italy's most prosperous province. The Cathedral, La Scala opera house and Santa Maria delle Grazie, home of da Vinci's "Last Supper," are just some of the sights. Equally fascinating is the belle Epoque splendor of 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. When not on one of its frequent strikes, Milan's Metro is an excellent way to explore. Renting a car opens up the region, with its towns full of Romanesque architecture and the peninsula of Sirmione and "Gardesana" coast.

The rustic Borgofrancone : the charming farm house within the natural reserve of Pian Di Spagna. An antique restaured rustic situated in the upper region of the Lake of Como, in the middle of Pian di Spagna's beautiful natural reserve. It is the ideal location for a relaxing but fascinating vacation. The breathtakingly beautiful location is situated within a property of 30 hectares rich in promenades, woods and lakes boasting a scenery and faunal heritage of international renown. The cottage Borgofrancone has become a green farm house and it comprises several detached flats: each of them fully equipped and furnished with refined taste. The location of ''ben-essere'' where you can feel at home and you can spend your free time taking strolls or a ride walk within the natural reserve. You will also have the chance to calmly discover villages and authentic traditions one by one. Finally, when evening comes and drapes Rustic Borgofrancone in its velvet cloak you can enjoy the pampering attentions from the spa staff.
We enjoyed a great lunch with "Sciatt", "Antipasto del borgo", "Pizzoccheri", and the most astonishing dish: "Tagliolino al missultin". The price is right for the level of the food we enjoyed. The staff is very clever, providing suggestions based on customer's preferences.

We stopped there on our way to the south of Tuscany. I wanted something decent to spend an afternoon and the night, but we discovered a gem! Everything falls into place: - owner and staff, everyone is genuinely nice and going the extra mile to make your stay the nicest possible - the grounds are amazingly pretty and well kept - hotel is small and more cosy than what it seems on the photos, which is a good thing, though it is not overcrowded even when the hotel was full. You feel very at ease. - rooms are nice and clean and sound proof! - Proximity to the horses is a mega plus especially with kids. We will be back and I cannot recommend this place more!

After a busy Christmas, we headed to Lake Como, and escaped to this bed and breakfast. The drive up here is only for the brave! Not only does the road up have many hairpin turns, but the driveway itself is tricky. Didn’t you want to get off the “beaten path”? This is a farmhouse with very good food at a reasonable price. There are donkeys, sheep, and cats here. The food is fresh, and the air invigorating. We stayed in an upstairs room—not much view, but clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountains and lake.

Torrazzetta, first farmhouse in the province of Pavia (since 1984), is situated on the foothills Oltrepo Pavese. It is housed in an old renovated farmhouse in respect of its ancient origins and equipped with modern comforts. The whole environment is quiet and relaxing, ideal for a holiday, for business meetings, banquets and ceremonies. A note deserves the kitchen (reported on many food guides), based on ancient recipes and flavors reinterpreted with a pinch of creativity and characterized by the use of wholemeal flour, homemade from bread and pasta made by hand, all combined with fine wines and sparkling wines (white, red and rose) organic farm products. The hotel has a restaurant with large rooms for every need, 33 rooms (all with bathroom , air conditioning and TV LED ), equipped meeting rooms, a cafe-bar area, a factory outlet, a reading room,
We have been twice to Torrazzetta and both times we had a very relaxing time there. The rooms are decent in both size and quality, the service is very friendly, the location is fanastic if you want to slow down and the we were positively suprised by the quality of the food.

we've been in Le Fratte Agriturismo for 2 nights, it was a very relaxing experience, in an old medieval but completely renewed farm with a very kindly and hospitable people and very good food - hand made cakes - for breakfast. Good position in Brescia mid mountain between Iseo, Idro and Garda Lakes.

I have booked at this hotel some rooms for guests visiting my hometown (Pavia). I haven't slept at the the hotel but I have visited numerous times. Everybody seemed very happy with the accommodation. The setting is lovely and very close to Milan. There are some goats that you can fee with the grass nearby, I had lots of fun with my 5 years old niece. Mr Vincenzo (the owner) has been very helpful. I will cretainly recommend this place to whoever needs tranquility. The position is also very good to visit the beautiful Certosa, Pavia and Milan.
