Have now been here twice and not been disappointed.
Today I took a Tzatsika which also included Feta cheese, then I took a kebab plate and it was perfect.
Staff are very nice and helpful.
The dining area is a bit like a hacienda or Mexican bar, but Okay anyway.
Visit them, you wont be dissapointed

After a week skiing we hade some time to kill waiting for the train to Stockholm. It was dinner time and with the restaurant situated close tho the station and with almost 1,5 hrs before the train should leave we chosed to eat at this restaurant. It's an old wodden building with lots of atmosphere. The menu looked nice, but a bit expensive for a small city like Ljusdal. We ordered two Caesar sallads and a burger with fries and a bbq sauce. We got out drinks right away and 50 min later we still haven't got our food, which is quite rare in Sweden. I went to the bar, but got ignored. 5 mins later i told the waitress that we have waited almost an hour and that our train will leave in 15 minutes. If we don't get the food now I will pay for the drinks and then leave. A minute later we had our dishes on the table. Not a single excuse from the waitress nor any compensation what so ever. I payed the bill right away in order to be able to run for the train when finished eating.
As we, by time, were hungry and in time stress, we dug in quickly. The burger was OK, fries soft and boring but the bbq sauce was very tasty. Caesarsallad came with burnt chicken, soft bacon and without crutongs. As in time stress there were no time to leave any comments to the staff. Next time in Ljusdal we will eat at another place.

Alright atmosphere. The falafel with french fries was bland, lukewarm and uninspired. Got to taste the Italian pizza which was significantly better. Clean and pleasant restrooms.

When the grandchild of the founder now taken over the feeling of stepping through the door like that thrown back in time. Bread varieties of all kinds. Stone oven baked sourdough bread, crispbread, buns, cakes and other goodies. The ecological runs like a red thread.

We visited for lunch as part of a larger group and were served an excellent hot lunch consisting of many different roast meats and simple but tasty salads. So the food is good, but what makes the place special is eating inside a museum setting. There are many traditional buildings that have been relocated here and wide lawned areas to let children run around. A little oasis of Hälsingland tradations, in the middle of modern (and largely rather ugly) Ljusdal.

Family atmosphere that does not leave much to chance. Friendly and service oriented staff. Luxurious 3 course lunch with incredible taste.

Stopped on my way to Ramundberget to get something to eat. Looking around I saw
mostly quick service restaurants serving hamburgers, pizzas and all you can eat-Chinese buffets. Then I found this place.
Casual and cozy environment with a fresh and modern menu. Ordered a bean burger with sweet potato fries, which took 10-15 min and tasted fresh and excellent.
It's quite small so if you are a company of six+, seats can be an issue.
Recommend this to anyone passing by Ljusdal looking for a casual and fresh gourmet experience.
