Restaurant Hours May Vary On Holidays
Hubby and I tried Santangelo's for the first time today. I almost hate to share this gem with anyone.
It's a small restaurant, very homey-feeling. I'm not sure which was better, the server or the food.
Hubby absolutely loved their chicken parmesan. It was delicious and very tender.
I had fettuccini alfredo, which was also very tasty. I love tons of sauce and didn't even need to request extra. There was plenty.
The side salads that came with our meals weren't just from a bagged salad mix. I could make a meal from the salad alone, especially with their Italian dressing.
Brandi was our server and she was a fantastic part of our first experience at Santangelo's.

We dined at lunchtime, just before they closed. The place has a very cozy feel to it even though it’s a pretty large establishment. We sat at the bar which has super comfortable stools and is right near the pizza oven for some extra warmth. The bartender and servers were very nice and made some great suggestions. We both ordered small pizzas which come with a side. My minestrone soup was fabulous and my buddy said his mixed greens were great too. The pizza was amazing. I had a white pizza with Brussels sprouts and homemade sausage. Just the right amount of spice and excellent crust. Craft beer selection was pretty weak but other than that it was wonderful and I’ll certainly return.

We saw this joint on an episode of Man vs Food a while back, and figured we should try it the next time we visited Syracuse. Liverpool is a suburb of Syracuse.
It’s a throwback drive-in 50’s diner kind of vibe, and the line up was long.
They have hotdogs (franks) and “coneys” (a kind of white dog that is neither traditional frank nor sausage). We tried both, including the “Double Dog” where they cram two franks or two coneys into a single bun, plus fries and drinks.
Overall the franks were pretty good and the Coneys weren’t bad (we found the Coneys to have a bit of an odd taste for a “hotdog”). We would order the franks only next time. The fries were crispy and hot. We were “frankly” expecting more given the hype, but it was still worth a visit.

One local spot...two great eating areas. Over the holidays, our family met to have a Christmas family dinner. The menu has a variety of items for everyone’s taste as well as evening specials. Nice atmosphere and a couple of different dining areas. But my husband and I love to go to the Retreat to meet up with friends at the Pub side to watch football or basketball. The pub’s menu has hot or cold sandwiches, a great variety of appetizers to share and a great atmosphere for fun. Especially in the cold winter of CNY, the Retreat allows you to forget the cold and warmup in the company of friends. I love that one restaurant offers you what they advertise...a great Retreat.

Wow! Had a very memorable dinner recently at Avicolli's. We really like this place. Great menu, nice wine selections, excellent presentation and wonderful atmosphere. The salad with dinner was very fresh. Garlic knots were warm and tasty. We ordered lobster ravioli and veal. Both dishes were fantastic. Will come back here again and again. Two thumbs up.

Dinosaur is the best. All of the meats are mouth-wateringly delicious. What I love about it though is that I can choose two healthy sides. I love the cuke tomato salad, the greens, and the fresh veggies each day. Any review of Dinosaur also has to mention the wait staff who are always great. Don't miss this place!

Don't be fooled by the location--which, if you approach at night, you may wonder where you are going! It is a bit out of the way and attached to a hotel--but IT IS WORTH IT. I loved the steak with pepper sauce. The appetizer of greens is amazing---just fun. If you happen to go on the weekend, you will hear some wonderful blues/jazz played right there next to your table. What a place! Doesn't disappoint!

It’s kinda hard to take a place seriously that claims to have the best chicken tenders, I mean it’s kinda hard to mess up chicken tenders! I don’t know that they are the best but they are pretty darn good. They have an appetizer that comes with the tenders on fries, smothered in cheese and bacon, mmmmm. Where I come from that’s called “slap yo’ momma good” service can be spotty. There are plenty of tvs if you wanna catch a game, pool table and video games so bring your quarters if you have kids.

Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a family owned and run establishment. We offer an authentic Thai food experience, with dishes made in the rich Thai tradition.
The friendly staff of the Bangkok ushers the patrons to a delicious selection of authentic Thai food - the best in the area. We stopped on a Monday night, and there was a steady stream of "take-outs" as well as a solid contingent of sit-down patrons.
The food was great and we had enough left for another meal.

Per my daughter recommendation, she took me there for lunch for the first time. I ordered the "Vermont Melt" and an included side salad ($9.50). The sandwich & salad were incredible. Everything there is homemade. I can't wait to try other menu items when I return (and I will return).
