Went to the inside restaurant for the first time. It was a charming little spot with all kinds of interesting gift shop items, including a lot of country fare. I loved that I could order a half sandwich and not waste food.

This area needed a place like GRK, and they are doing a good job competing with the local chains. The menu here changes just enough to keep it interesting while still making a great burger. Salads and appetizers are tasty and generous. They do seafood pretty well (oysters!), and the cuts of meat are very good, but ask for the sauces on the side because they can be really overwhelming - not everyone is a fan of whiskey butter. The fries are good but can be overcooked. They mark GF and Vegan dishes clearly and do them well, but it would be great if they had some gluten free bread - especially in the form of a burger bun.

Dinner here was good, but choosing off their off-beat me was challenging. A meatball appetizer of three meatballs really was yummy, but $8 for these was a bit much. Finally settled on white shrimp pizza which was different and good - I think as this pie has to grow on you. Restaurant is quite noisy with a few low tables the rest are all high. I hear a new menu is coming. Right now tho I would not return.

I slip into Dunkins when I have a yearning for their Boston creme donuts. I can't help but emit a "yummm" when I bite into the rich, custard like creme in the center of this donut. The chocolate coating complements the flavor perfectly.

They have "unusual" offerings as well as traditional pizzas. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. It may require a wait but well worth the trouble. They have carry out is available. They are very generous with their ingredients, you don't have to use a magnifying glass to find the meat etc!

Burtons Grill is a very smart chain. Why you may ask? They cater to everybody with their gluten free menus, scratch kitchen and four vegetarian options. At the same time people who want a great burger or other meat options can be satisfied too. Their cocktails are great and they bring you the shaker so you can top off your drink. The service is routinely top notch and the ambience is great. The restaurantsy are usually conveniently located in a mall. Go Burtons.

Ed's offers the mildest hot dogs and so much more. You can enjoy your hot dog or sausage on a pretzel bun imported from Germany. There is often fresh chili and chowder and summertime brings fresh corn. Buns are grilled with butter, the New England. Ed's is small, but service is fast, offerings are varied and the food is scrumptious.

We went with friends and we each ordered different entrees. They were all good except that the pasta with my chicken parm was not hot. I did not mention it because we all had our meals. When we got back to my house ,let's just say it was a good thing that we have more than 1 bathroom.

There's not a lot you can say about DD's...it's pretty predictable.
But what sets this one apart for me is one of the servers, Laurette. She is absolutely amazing! She is a master of multi-tasking and can keep several orders and several actions going on simultaneously without missing a beat.
She remembers all of the regulars and starts their orders when she sees them walking thru the door, all while continuing to manage other orders.
It's a great way to ease into the work day.
