small family-owned BBQ restaurant on national Road 12, 2 km away from the city of Puerto Rico. Tel 54 03743 421498
We hired a taxi to take us from Puerto Iguazú to San Ignacio Minà and stopped here for such a satisfying all-you-can-eat lunch that we could barely move afterwards. Let's start with the appetisers: empanada, ravioli, fried cassava, cheese croquette, beetroot salad, braised chicken with rice ... the list goes on and on. But be careful not to take too much because the highlight is the asado, its wide selection of ribs, loins, sausages, etc. promptly served to the table every five minutes or so. The only postre available is helado which costs extra. With drinks, it's unbelievable this deliciousness cost us less than 20 dollars per person. Amid hot and humid weather, the air-conditioned space was such a relief that we lost our appetite for sightseeing and wish we could stay a bit longer ... until we literally exploded.

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Puerto Iguazu. Our taxi driver Hugo recommended this place to us and we were suitably impressed. Itâs a large restaurant with a big outside seating area for warmer evenings. Inside itâs bright and lively with a good mix of Italian and Argentinian food on the menu. We both had the Caprese Salad which was excellent, followed by Filet Mignon and Stuffed Chicken Breast both of which were good. The portions were huge and certainly satisfied our hunger. Free Caipirinhas to start followed good gin and tonics. A large bottle of Quilmes beer came with itâs own ice bucket, which was a first for us. Midway through the evening two tango dancers appeared to give a lively and well appreciated display.

The service here was friendly helpful and the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. We had the special and a pasta along with a nice bottle of very quaffable Malbec. There was no issue with payment by credit card and it was a pleasant night out at a restaurant that I would be happy to return to.Dear 163warrensFrom Doña Maria Restaurant we kindly thank you for your comments on your stay with us.We are pleased to know that we met your expectations. Sometimes I think fancy places look too good for what they charge and the food is not that great and over priced but I think this place delivered the beef for a reasonable price. I ordered a lomo criollo and it did not disappoint. Live music was being played and might have been a little bit loud (we went to the second floor). However the steak was great! I recommend this place if you want to enjoy good steak and music as well!

We have 2 coeliacs in our family so eating out can be a chore. We had the mixed grill and sides for mains, then 4 delicious desserts. Alejandro recommended a lovely Malbec. Special potatoes and the crepe dessert were highlights. The steaks looked great too. Live music and attentive service. Thank you about your review. We are really glad to read it.Hope to see you sometime soon.Hugs from everybody!

Stopped by for cocktails and stayed for dinner. Menu has English translation, so that proved useful. We sat outside under a canopy to make the most of the evening air, and thankfully no one smoked, which is sometimes a problem which forces non- smokers inside. Attentive staff, well presented meals, with steaks cooked to perfection. Extensive wine menu. Presentation of the bill was accompanied with a complimentary glass of champagne - nice touch.Very enjoyable evening - good choice! Thank you so much for your kindly comment. We are happy to know that our staff exceded your expectations and also our food.

La Ruedita is a restaurant in Posadas' "Costanera" avenue that serves typical Argentinean food. If you seat on the second floor, close to the window, you'll have a view of the Parana river and of Paraguay, on the other side of the river. Food portions are generous. I suggest keeping it simple, avoiding dishes with heavy sauces. If you are unfamiliar with the local food and want to go for fish, try a pacu dish. If you want to go for beef or chicken, try a brochette. Nothing is particularly different or creative in this place's food, but it has well-executed traditional recipes.

We ate there two nights, the food was exceptional, the wait staff attentive, and they appears to speak about every language save perhaps Swahili!?It is a fine dining restaurant with mid rage pricing. Some of the locals in Iguazu said it was the best restaurant in the entire city and based on our experience, I am not surprised.
