As a warning to any travelers choosing to dine at Live Rock Cafe in Parana, Entre Rios, Argentina: Someone in my family left her credit card by mistake, when paying for her meal. She realized her mistake within about a half-hour and called the restaurant. She was assured the card would be dropped off at her hotel. Yet, when she checked her bank account online, she noticed that someone had already charged the card for a hotel - a hotel that just happens to be across the plaza from Live Rock - within a half-hour. When she returned to the restaurant, she was treated with indignation the moment she walked in. The personnel did not simply deny any wrong-doing, but implied that she "deserved" it.By the way, the girl is from Parana. If they'll do this to their "own", what makes you think they won't do it to you - a traveler from another country?Don't patronize these criminals. There are plenty of good restaurants in Parana. Scratch Live Rock from your list. No one deserves to be robbed - regardless of the imagined reason.

Fui ya como 20 veces... Vamos desde hace 7 años. Nos encanta. La atención es excelente, hoy un montón de meseros, todos con muy buena onda, el lugar es hermoso, se escucha buen tango que va te bien con la arquitecta antigua, la comida siempre es fresca, sabrosa y de buena calidad, los precios son Excelentes. Por lo general gastamos unos $600 a $800 por pareja (u$s10 septiembre de 2019). Y traemos comida de sobra para casa.Las pizzas grandes rondan los $250. La empanadas $35.La porciones son muy abundantes y los chicos recomiendan bien sobre las cantidades a pedir.Es genial y nunca falla al recomendarlo

We walked 1 km east from our apartment near the Bus Terminal. The tables were already half filled with families as we arrived at 1PM on Sunday. One of the 2 uniformed waitresses brought our menus, then a cup of peanuts, and returned 10 minutes later to take our order. Speaking English, we could actually have a rare conversation when she brought our beer and bread basket. The cook was kept busy as more diners arrived and we waited 30 minutes for our wonderful Spaghetti Mariscos topped with parmesan cheese. Pleasant clientele with children running about, attentive waitress, clean restrooms, and almost more food than we could eat for 445 Ap= $22.

This place was totally dead when we arrived at 8.30 pm on a week day in low season, but did get a few more customers later. The service was very friendly and efficient; they didn't have the necessary ingredients for the salad I ordered but basically allowed me to make up my own, choosing from all the ingredients they did have! The salad was great, but the pizza not amazing. Like a lot of Argentinian pizza places, the base was really thick and bready (twice as thick as you'd expect!), and there was very little tomato on it. We asked for not much cheese, which worked well - often we find pizzas here a bit overkill with the cheese! The wine we ordered was also not great. They only do pizzas and salads, no pastas. It's okay, but nothing special.
