Recently visited for a quick lunch and I cant say enough good things about this restaurant.First and foremost the staff are friendly and attentive, atmosphere is quiet and quaint. We sat on the patio and it was great!Food here is farm fresh and so tasty, the veggie flatbread was amazing, fresh veggies and cooked to perfection. We both opted for the Mens Rea Salad, which is a greek inspired salad, I topped mine with chicken my friend had the Salmon. Fresh fresh fresh, it was so good, dressing amazing and chicken came out piping hotI highly recommend this restaurant !

As a family coming to St. Catharineâs from out of town we turned to the internet to choose a place for our Motherâs Day brunch. We found Rockway Vineyards and Golf. The setting looked beautiful and the restaurant reviews on Trip Advisor were positive. We never thought that we should be anything but pleased with our brunch and time together as a family. How bad was our experience? Let me count the ways. This was an unequivocal disaster start to finish. The serverâs seemed disorganized and unprepared. At a brunch all that is expected is to serve drinks, pick up plates and settle the check, not a tremendous amount to keep up with. Next, the food was just awful and in short supply!!! I donât know how else to put it. We had a choice of 2 lifeless salads, French-toast (no syrup to be found), 2 veggies choices, dry tasteless chicken, dry pork, processed shaved roast beef in gravy and a picked over basket of bread (no butter to be found). The omelettes were fine if you were lucky enough to get one. The desserts were pitiful and scarce. Lastly, I had to pick the fruit up from the tray with my fingers because there weren't any serving utensils. You might think Iâm exaggerating, boy-o-boy I wish I was, but Iâm not. At the end it was a bit comical but frustrating. My husband finally got a plate of melted butter from the kitchen for his now eaten bread. Butter never made it to the main table and syrup never came. I canât speak to the place when ordering off the menu but brunch is just beyond their capabilities. I have never been compelled to write a review on Trip Advisor, but I felt compelled to this time. My husband and I enjoy eating out and donât mind paying for a good dinner, but there is nothing like leaving a place feeling ripped off. I honestly pride myself on not being a picky eater or a complainer, but one hundred sixty dollars later for a family of four, Iâm not wrong in expecting more. By the way, it is a pretty place for what itâs worth.

We have been apart of the neighbourhood in Beamsville for over 20 years and still going strong. We offer a wide variety of foods for dine in, take out and delivery.
We ate here recently while visiting some winery's in the area. We ordered a perogie pizza which was really good and 1 lb of wings. We got the wings breaded with medium sauce. We got 7 small wings with little meat and lots of breading and they were over cooked. The service was prompt and friendly. We would go back for another pizza but not the wings.I am sorry to hear about your wings from you last visit. Can you please let me know the date that you were in and i will see why the wings were overcooked and talk to our supplier about wing sizes. Please send me an email so i can better respond to you once i resolve this issue.ThanksLeon

Relaxed sports bar with great service and reasonable but somewhat overpriced 'grub'. If they could just update the rugs and the walls - it would be a remarkable pace to go and watch sports events... but that seems to be a dying need given the plethora of sports-watching and recording opptys at home and neighbours. So it is likely part of a dying breed of venues - unlikely to be around in five years from now. In the meantime their 2 for 1 cocktail specials spare no expense and are indeed top quality drinks..

Traveling with my son and stopped at The Feathery Pub for a late Saturday dinner after unpacking him for University. Prices for both pints and food were very reasonable. I ordered the Steak and Mushroom Pie which came with lots of beef and mushrooms. I have had Steak and Mushroom Pie at other places where you had to play hide and seek through the gravy to find any steak or mushrooms. This was a good portion filled with the good stuff. My son had the Dagwood Sandwich which was piled high on marble rye bread. He thoroughly enjoyed it. We both had the balsamic greens as our side and they were a little wet from a bit too much dressing but not a big issue.DMthePMThank you very much for choosing the Feathery Pub for dinner & pints! We appreciate your business and appreciate you taking the time to share this review here on Trip Advisor! Also we wanted to take a moment to congratulate your son on starting (?) or continuing this year at Brock! We hope he turns into a regular!Cheers Tammy

Have loved creekside wines for years and have bought wine many times in the past. Have tried eating on the patio before and have never been successful - either it was full or closed. Today we went again anticipating a relaxing lunch on their deck after a lovely weekend in NOTL. The person who greeted us told us to sit wherever we liked and she would bring us some water. The only table not in the sun (no umbrellas over those tables!) was not cleared from the previous customers so we sat and looked over the menu. We were completely ignored until we asked if we could have some water and wine. The waitress was so rude to us saying since we had sat at a dirty table instead of a clean one she didn't know we wanted to order. We said it was too hot to sit in the sun. First she gave us someone else's meals and took them away then practically threw our plates at us. She was so rude to us for doing what? Sitting at a table they hadn't cleared yet? Why not just clear the table and apologize? What was supposed to be a pleasant afternoon was anything but and we will never go back there nor buy their wine again.

British style pub.
We recently stopped for lunch at the Butcher and Banker pub and the food was good but the service wasnt. We had a butcher burger which was fresh angus ground beef burger, bbq sauce, peameal bacon and cheddar cheese which was quite tasty and well cooked. We also had the chicken tenders. Food was very good. Service was slow and our server was absent for most of the meal. Our server wasnt around for drink refills and once we finished meal we had a long wait for our server for the bill. We would have rated higher as food was good except service brought it down.

Terrible terrible service. Ordered two specials and two salads and still no food after 50 minutes. Finally took it to go as it was getting late. Not the first time we've experienced this but it will be the last. Not recommending to anyone. Blaming management. Server was young and zero communication.
