We roast our own fair trade organic Jail Breaker coffee onsite. Free WiFi in the cafe, and bring your dirty washing as we even have our own coin-operated laundromat. The Addington Store - eco-friendly, fairly traded, and/or locally produced gifts and groceries. We also stock Liminal Apparel's range of fair trade organic t-shirts and bags made at Freeset in Kolkata. We have a small farm at Little River supplying produce and free range eggs to the cafe
I had the big cooked breakfast, and was not very good at all. Firstly the potato cake was not cooked through and had a very strong rosemary taste - it was inedible. The bacon was over cooked. The mushrooms were cold, not sure when they were cooked. Eggs over cooked. The sausage was freshly cooked and tasted good.

Tai Tapu Hotel is a set on 3 acres of picturesque country side, at the base of the Port Hill overlooking the Tai Tapu Golf Club with the Halswell River running through. THE RESTAURANT serves quality gastro pub style meals Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm right through to the evening dinning, bookings taken to 8pm. With three fabulous chefs the food is consistently great. THE FUNCTION ROOM is a purpose built function venue with private outdoor patio and grounds, flanked by beautiful palm trees. Full bar facilities and various food options available to suit every occasion. THE COURTYARD is sheltered and relaxing. Great for a meal or platter and bottle of wine with friends and family.
We decided to try the Tai Tapu Hotel for the first time after reviewing the hotel on Trip Advisors website.
The Hotel has good history around its existence and the Surroundings and facilities were all good.
A separate modern building appears to be well set up for what we assumed was Functions and looked ideal for that purpose and all the trees and greenery would be great for wedding photos. Back on to the purpose of our visit and having lunch.
We were patiently allocated a seat by the window and given the menu.
We chose the pork Belly dish, served with steamed vegetables and roast potatoes - a very generous serving served in a smooth red wine sause. The veges were very good, cooked El dente whereas the pork belly was average . ? no crackling which was disappointing and there was far too much liquid.
My dish was a step up- Lovely Blue cod on a Kumera Mash and with the same nice vegetables, and a creamy hollandaise sauce - An enjoyable dish and the vegetables were a generous serving and a real change from the constant chips experienced in so many cafes and hotels. well done.
The service was pretty slow , barely 3*'s and after our mains, we had been waiting for some time and decided give coffee and desert a miss as a result of the wait.
The hotel and surroundings deserve to be backed up by better service if the potential of the property is to be fully realised in our view. Maybe an off day but we probably won't come back. There are too many choices around.

First time eating at coriander. Food was tasty, good value, great service....couldnt ask for much more. Menu had the best variety I have seen in an Indian restaurant. Also child friendly which is always a bonus when you have little ones.
Most definitely stick to coriander's for Indian food from now in

We came for breakfast Sunday morning, mainly because we were in the area and they are in the Entertainment Book. So glad we did! Absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in the door, where we were greeted with a cheery hello and taken right to a table, till when we paid the bill (and a nice wee discount thanks to the book), it was just lovely. The vegetarian breakfast is really well worth it, and filling. My partner had the big breakfast option, which he also said was filling, even if the bacon was a bit so-so (but as I didn’t have that, I really can’t complain). Would love to go back. Brilliant place. And there is even a nice outside grass area with benches that you could always chuck the children on, to get them away from other diners – which is a great idea.

At the Curry Pot in Lincoln we really aim to give the customer a fantastic taste experience of Northern Indian cuisine. The Curry Pot chefs skilfully meld the complex flavours across a variety of vegetarian, meat and seafood dishes. For the fans out there a selection of Indian-Chinese dishes are also available. We are open for Lunch and Dinner, 7 Days a week, Dine-In or Take-away.
I've eaten here on several occasions and enjoyed it. However the owner of Curry Pot was today convicted of charging an employee $14,000 for a job, and witholding $31,000 in wages.

Kris and Chrissy Partridge are old hands in the Lincoln area and are known to many locals. They have a great team to give you all your favourites with all the energy you'd expect from a couple of ex-fitness buffs. Great people and great coffee make Coffee Culture Lincoln a 'must see' next time you're out in the country!
Two coffees to go - $11.20 are you serious??? My sister and I decided to call in for a quick caffeine hit this afternoon. The service was pleasant and the waiting time was acceptable but a small long back and a single shot cappuccino for $11.20? Worse still no sugar so sis was not a happy panda. Travel another 1km up the road to McDonalds McCafe people.

Visited this place expecting some good fish and chips. Unfortunately, both the fish and the chips were very soggy and greasy with the fat they had been fried in. Furthermore, the chips were way too salty. Would not recommend this place for getting your fish and chips.

Every year, for several years, a group of us have had lunch at this cafe, and spent time in the gift shop buying early Christmas presents.
This year, the food selection was more limited and definitely not as nice as we've experienced in previous years. Although the coffee was excellent!
Most disappointing was the lack of selection of gifts on display in the gift shop and no one there to serve us!
This cafe holds many memories of good food and shopping for our group and we're seriously considering whether or not to return in the future.

Home made food with love.
The food is terrific, especially the backed goods - they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is really good and the staff were wonderful.

Restaurant, Bar and Brewery. Brewing our own cask conditioned and craft beer styles. A constantly changing range of around 20 craft beers on tap. 8 on handpump straight from the barrel. Dining is casual in an eclectic environment. Very child friendly with toys, colouring in, outside amusements, and a kids platter. Upstairs loft lounge is kiddie free. Live Jazz every Sunday from 2-4pm.
My family and I went to this restaurant/pub for dinner earlier this week and the experience was superb. We ordered the wood fired pizza, and it was absolutely delicious, with the crispy base and crust, and stringy cheese!! The staff were very friendly, and there was an overall nice and fun atmosphere. The decor of the restaurant was interesting and modern, while keeping up with the clever ‘laboratory’ theme!
