Since 1978, The Bay House has endeavored to be the best restaurant possible, providing first-class service and creative, fresh, honest food and drink in a gorgeous coastal setting. Recently designated as one of only two AAA 4-Diamond Award restaurants in Oregon, the focus remains on world-class hospitality.
The Bay House has been around for a long time--no small feat on the Oregon Coast. It's because it's consistently good for a special night out. The food, the atmosphere and the service are always reliable. I give it four stars because it never seems to try to outdo itself. It's consistently good but could use a bit of inspiration.

We keep forgetting how wonderful this unpretentious place is...Our first choice restaurant for the night was closed so we came here and, wow, were we pleasantly shocked. Our server suggested the evening's special, a 14 oz New York steak with a jelly sauce and... well look at the photos. We started with the artichoke and shrimp appetizer -- amazing, but enough for 4 people (we brought some home with us). The steak was fabulous, a truly ingenious culinary masterwork. Great server too. Very highly recommended -- one of our two favorite gourmet-level restaurants in the area, along with the Bay House.

Okay, so spouse and I stopped by to see why it is awarded so many rave reviews. And we truly don't know why. Overpriced seafood I can buy at my local farmers' market or New Seasons. We looked at what was available, said uh-uh and left.
It's not a restaurant, which is okay. We thought we'd take the seafood home to enjoy.

The place is small and so nicely decorated and clean. The wait staff are very pleasant. The food is very good not totally smoothered in cheese although cheese is used. The prices are reasonable. This is not a fast food restaurant but it doesn't take long to get your food and you get a lot of it.

Four of us had a window table to enjoy celebrating a friend's birthday. The service was wonderful! Our birthday "boy" was greeted with a "Happy Birthday" and we were seated immediately. We all ordered different things from the Early Bird menu (4:00 - 5:30 PM) and each of us enjoyed the delicious food. We were also highly impressed by the restroom! There's a gorgeous view even there. We will not hesitate to eat at Fathoms again, and neither should you!!

We had lunch at Kyllo's because they can meet the needs for celiac. They have a designated fryer for their fries. They can also grill the fish for fish and chips. So both I and my wife had fish & chips. The cole slaw was AMAZING! I not being one wh likes slaw. The view of the ocean makes for a special lunch.

I ate at Momji on a Monday afternoon around 2:30pm, which is important because it is located at the often busy Lincoln City Outlets shopping area. (Luckily I had no problem finding parking!) I went to the sushi bar at the back, and had the...MoreThank you toddacarlson for taking the time to review us. We are happy to hear that you had a great dining e pertinence with us. Service is excellent. Presentation beautiful and the entrees were well complimented . The Ciapino was a large bowl of beautiful seafood. The downside was the price and ambiance. Most entrees were around 30-35 dollars and the ambiance lacked a lot for the price. Bare tables, uncomfortable booths. For the price I would have enjoyed a more intimate experience.
The ding dong dessert was excellent as was the fig martini.

Breakfast and lunch 7 to 3 Thursday thru Monday. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We offer traditional breakfast and lunch fare at reasonable prices with great service.
We wanted something small for breakfast and saw this little place. It is a hidden gem in Lincoln City. The food, especially the cinnamon bun, was fabulous and the price very reasonable. The best part was the server (from Hawaii). He was very attentive and just on top of everything. This is a DO NOT miss place. Come in relax and enjoy?
