With 33,960 inhabitants, it is part of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. Geleen is situated along the river Geleenbeek, a right tributary to the river Meuse. The Latin name for Geleenbeek is Glana, meaning "clear river". The town centre is situated at about 60 m above sea level.

I didnât eat here so Iâm not able to comment about the food, although the menu seemed extensive enough, but it was a perfect place for an evening drink outside. Situated on the main town square, thereâs a great atmosphere and lovely setting, the heat lamps keep it mild to sit there even on a damp October night. The service was attentive and quick. Enjoyed this visit, would go again.

We got there to eat something simple and fast for lunch and didn't really expect much of it (mostly by the place's looks and the public which comes for the slot machine they have inside). The menu has quite a lot of options, but being on a place called Tapas itself, what better than trying tapas? So we ordered a tapas mix. I was expecting some small simple bites, but we were presented a wide Woden plank with several cooked traditional Spanish bites, which were all very tasteful. Enjoyed the meal at this restaurant immensely. The menu was varied, and the dinner portions were large as well as delicious. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this place highly out of the restaurants around the Sittard market square.

Took my family here to eat and had a good time! Our waiter didn't know what English (which is ok , I don't expect everyone to speak English) but we figured the menu out with our limited Dutch skills! Fries were superb and the pea soup very good as well.

We've been to this cosy cafe for drinks before, but now we went in for dinner. My boyfriend and his parents really enjoyed the typical Limburg dish 'konijn in het zuur' (rabbit in sour sauce). The meat was very tender and the flavor was perfect.I opted for the vegetarian quiche. Since I am lactose intolerant, I discussed this a few days before, and the cook created a lactosefree quiche for me. It was very tasty, the dough was perfect and the flavours were well balanced. The fries were tasty too, they are baked in 'ossewit', which gives them a distinctive taste.ALLERGY FRIENDLYIf you have allergies, you can eat here. They handle allergies very well.

this really is a perfect place for having a drink; the service is excellent. all the staff is very friendly and you really feel the warmth of the establisment.The choices for lunch and for dinner and definitely not huge, but regardless what you order, everything is prepared very well and very tasty.we go there almost every week with friends or just just the 2 of us.Very nice (covered and heated) terrace.Really adding value to the city of Sittard.
