Het beste van 2 werelden: gezellig iets drinken en/of heerlijk lunchen/dineren. Dat kan allemaal. Lekker borrelen met ons trio van vleeswaren geserveerd met brood en tapenades, bitterballen of olijven is ook heerlijk op ons prachtige markt.

Scallops as starter, hake with pasta cooked in a lobster broth, and an amazingly succulent ossobuco....the cook(s) of Gastrobar 1677 deserve praise for the flavours and textures! The food is very well presented at very affordable prices. So far so good. The only negative point can be made towards the staff. Well presented, cordial, but very slow. Sadly enough they lack the drive to match the level of the food. So my advise: Ignore the staff's lack of focus, and simply endure the wait for your food and drinks. It is worth it!

This is a âmust have been thereâ place. Superb historic location. Good resto and brasserie. With great views on the actual castle on the little hill (called âterpâ). Service is friendly. Free parking and free wifi. Food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for a dinner for two or for groupdinner.

Charming and authentic Portuguese restaurant in Sittard. The Portuguese chicken was delicious and cooked to perfection by a true Portuguese chef. Furthermore Portuguese wines tasted amazing. The family Carrico are friendly, welcoming, and passionate about their country. By their food, wine and design they bring a piece of authentic Portuguese culture to Sittard! Donât forget to try their homemade desserts!

Inrichting is gezellig en netjes. Bediening is wisselvallig. Sommige erg vriendelijke andere nogal koel. Kaart is niet heel uitgebreid dus kan lastig zijn voor moeilijke eters. Gekozen voor de Dorade, was oké en lekker maar zeker niet bijzonder. Was helaas ook alleen filet terwijl een hele dorade vis beter smaakt en oogt. Tafelgenoten waren tevreden vooral over de spareribs. Voldoende keuze aan drank. Gekozen Prosecco smaakte goed. Gezien prijs kwaliteit verhouding net geen 4 sterren.
