Went here for a second time as we had such a great meal last time! What really stands out in this place (besides the food!) is the great and genuine service from the waitresses. They could not have been more friendly!As a starter we shared a plate with Italian cold meats which was delicious and plenty for 2 persons to share. Followed by Veal rolls filled with parmesan cheese. As a dessert I had the scroppino which was delicious, however the Panna cotta was not so good as it contained way to much gelatine! All in all, very nice visit again to Lanterna and can definitely recommend it!PS they have a great wine menu as well!

Good design on the inside, good terras on the square outside. Not a place to eat if one is in a hurry. The idea is to take your time with several courses with smaller portions. Large wine list. FOOD IS GOOD!Staff are good and explain the dishes.

I visit venlo a lot for my work and didn't even know this restaurant was here. My company made the reservation. What a find. The food was absolutely first class. The friendliness of the staff was fantastic. As normal in the Netherlands, the staff addressed me in English and were more than happy to translate the menu. All-in-all, I was incredibly impressed with this restaurant and will not hesitate to come. Very good choice for all occasions.

Wie graag wil wandelen of fietsen in een prachtige natuur moet de Venlose heide bezoeken en genieten van het Limburgs landschap. Een mooi rustpunt is de Gasterij Groote Heide, prachtig gelegen in de natuur. Je kunt er heel goed lunchen of van een drankje genieten. De moeite waard.
