A good job we weren't in a hurry as the single waiter didnt rush. Only 4 tables occupied but it was an age before we were served. However the food was excellent and clearly cooked to order by the chef owner.A word of warning. There is building work in the area (July 2015) so finding the restaurant was tricky. Best to phone them for directions.

We were there last November, just wanted to try some different from kebap cuisine. The service is immaculate, the owners are very pleasant people and the Polish food there is extremely delicious. We haven't tried anything else from their extensive menu, however they have pasta, kebap and few other dishes. The prices are perfectly fine. Today for 3 beers, 2x6 Pierogi and 1 plate of 4 Placki we paid 32 EUR.I totally recommend this place!

Italian restaurants in the Netherlands tend to be safe as taste goes, thankfully Mari e Monti stay true to their heritage based in Sardinia (IT) and treat the guests that dare to move away from the pizza to some true great flavors traditionally cooked. They boast a solid wine cellar for reasonable prices. We've had a lovely 3 course menu that ended with an excellent espresso (the best we've tasted so far after living in Holland for over 15 years)! The service is friendly and efficient , they know when you want to take the time with a loved one or get out quick when sat down with the in-laws.But do make a reservation more people have found this little gem in Vaals

One of those restaurants in the middle of ânowhereâ. Typical establishment in small typical village in the south of Limburg. We sat outside (backside), but inside looks cozy too. It was relatively busy (good sign) but the wait was not excessive. Unfortunately for us the white asparagus (typical for this part of the Netherlands) were just out of season. We missed it by days. So we went for meat âveal tournedosâ (kalfsoester) with tarragon mustard sauce and entrecôte, which they serve with French fries. Delicious. Overall great experience, would recommend.

We had a great lunch at La Becasse in Aachen. After more than 20 years this restaurant is still excellent and provides amazing food with a phantastic wine selection. The lunch is a 3 course menu with amuse geul, intermediate and changes daily.

Went here for a dinner with 8 on a Saturday afternoon (early). We had a nice table in the back and were seated friendly. We ordered the main course directly and some drinks. Service was good, food was perfect and good portion size. We had several meat skewers and shrimps, all in all very taste and not dry or whatever. We ended up sharing some desserts like the greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts and kid's ice-cream. The greek yoghurt was ok but not the 'real' yoghurt. Some other items where the 'tubes' of mayonnaise and small soft drink glasses (very cheap though). Nevertheless a perfect place for an affordable and good quality Greek meal. Recommended! Special note to their tzatziki. We even ordered extra because it was so tasty.

We had our Family dinner with our parents and the food was good. The best part of the dinner was the 'crunchy terrine sweetbread of veal' which is served with the veal. That was really superb. The service was mixed from excellent to average.Especially the waiting period on the phone to make the reservation and the time we had to wait until we were greeted in the restaurant.

Enjoy delicious dishes in our à la carte restaurant 'In de Oude Watermolen' with its welcoming bistro next door. Our menu offers a wide variety of dishes, such as cave-aged cheese and Mergelland lamb. You can also choose the perfect Limburg wine to suit y
Stayed in this hotel restaurant for one night. Went to the bar-bistro first for a drink and appetisers. The glass of beer was almost more foam than beer. An unacceptable "head". The waitress did apologise after complaining and topped up the glass. The bitter ballen were small, industrial, half empty and the mustard came out of a cheap paper sachet. And all this in a 5 star Establishment. Very bad indeed.Contrary to this experience the main restaurant was very good although we had to wait a long time for the menu and breads. Excellent creative dishes which were very well presented and were delicious too. Professional staff. All well here. So, judged together, on balance: Average

The restaurant located in an old missionary serves a small menu with easy going meals and easy going service. Very cheap and in accordance with the meal. Not too fancy, but good to go. We had the local special "Zuur vlees" which was alright. The restaurant closes at 8 PM!!! So be in time.
