It was a rainy day and the restaurant was full within minutes. A very nice atmosphere, nice ambiental music; the wooden beams of the old structure were kept and that's part of the personality of this little cosy restaurant, with a nice chandelier hanging as a finishing touch. One disadvantage was the only waiter trying to wait on all the tables - he was very good, very efficient, but still just one person... The food was delicious and it's worth the Michelin guide mention. (I thought I'd have to wait long for the food given the situation, but I was wrong.) The Bolognese sauce (which came on the spaghetti) was one of the best I had in a restaurant. The food was well cooked and neatly plated. That's why the very unexpected surprise of the sour spaghetti was all the more disappointing... For the rest, everything was tasty and deserved its price.

Nearly 1.5 hrs to wait for 2 bowls of rotten pasta, no apology, no updates on delivery, no attention, dreadful service. Donât waste your money people! Boycott this restaurant, they donât care about their customers.

I stopped by this place for lunch with my wife while killing an hour or two in Peer.We had lunch on the terras in the back, which is quite pleasant and sunny. We ordered goat-cheese/bacon/apple salads. Service was quick and friendly.Unfortunately the salads were not up to par. They were filled with unpeeled fruits (melon, kiwi, clementine) and tasted unrefined. The bread served with the salads was very fresh and tasty. This place is not cheap either.Would I recommend to a friend ? Probably not. Will I return ? Probably not.

I had the Salmon with rhubarb and Chablis sauce for lunch. Great combination of flavours, very tasty food! It was served with cooked (or steamed?) vegetables and a choice of side dishes (French Fries, rice, kroketten,...) This restaurant also has a large beer menu. Definitely recommended!

This is one of my favorite great owner service and the food is amazing... Was there with my friends and we have a good time
Visited here to escape the average food at the local Center Parcs where I was staying with my wife and 3 young children. The restaurant is really nice inside and felt spotless. The proprietors are lovely and made us and the children feel really welcome. The food is home cooked Dutch/Belgian cuisine. All dishes we had were tasty, well cooked and were good portions meaning we left feeling full and satisfied.Everyone had a great feed. Highly recommended.

I used to go here a lot with my parents when I was younger.I can still remember all the succulent dishes and the upscale atmosphere of the place as if it was yesterday...

It's a nice authentic place with good Italian food. The atmosphere is very good. Even it's busy you noticed only the family who works there. Sometimes a little bit chaotic but Italian. Beside the restaurant they have also a B&B. Looking over the vine yard. Very nice. The food is excellent. It's every time a pleasure to eat over there.

A great kitchen, goog service and in summer nice terasse for dining by candle light, menu advise and great cheese choices for for enjoying your last drops of wine.

Brasserie Max is a quaint restaurant with authentic Belgian cuisine, they have unique takes on staple dishes and excellent service. I've visited the restaurant several times throughout the year and love their menu in each season, especially the "wild" menu in the fall and winter which features a whole range of hearty game. In the summer they have a huge mussel menu too that ranges from the staple white wine to unique flavors like moroccan and eastern. If you're looking for great Belgian food definitely make sure to stop here, one of my favorite restaurants in the world hands down!
