I went with my in laws, & we had great traditional peruvian seafood at a good price. We had ceviche de pescado, jalea mixto, causa de cangrejo & Tacutacu de mariscos. All excellent & fresh, with big servings that we couldn't finish. It's off the beaten path for tourists but worth the trip.

MAIDO! That's how you'll be greeted once you step into the restaurant. A big welcoming team...ready to wow you! Maido is a humble restaurant despite it's Michelin stars and several awards. The food has a purpose, a clean vision and knows it's superb roots. The team knows and passionate about their work and they will explain each dish with respect that the dish deserve. Some dishes are more complicated than others but remember elevating simple dishes are harder since there is nowhere to hide; on the contrary Maido's dishes are proud be seen and tasted. Weâve been today after missing Sumito, their sushi place at Real Plaza Centro Civico.The prices here are higher than Sumito, the sushi menu reminded us a lot of Sumito and itâs a good thing.The service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice. The food was amazingly good. We had the 3 rolls for 69 soles. Although itâs a promotional price, itâs still quite expensive in comparison with other sushi places weâve been in Lima. The food is worth it, we will be back!
