Kewpee Hamburger is an institution in Lima, Ohio. The diner’s mantra is “Hamburg, pickle on top, makes your heart go flippity-flop.”
People from all over that come back to Lima make this a mandatory stop. It is well known across multiple generations for an always good hamburger made hot and fresh with the condiments of your choice. The French fries and frosted malts are just as delightful. The uptown location is rich in history that almost every family around here is a part of.

The ice-cream selection is crazy. So many to choose from I will have to go back many times. The girl that waited on us was so sweet and helpful. We had the BBQ pork sandwich. It was very good. The ice-cream servings were very big. It's a must try.

I have decided to stop buying at these big by locations. They have no clue to what customer service is. Each time it is different issues. Training is needed..but doesn't look like they get it. Since you pay a high $$..a customer should not be prompted to reach over there counter to get the full potential of coffee to pour my own drink.

We went here for the first time with a group of friends. We heard a lot of good things from people that had already dined here. First impressions were very good! It's in a very old uptown building that has been remodeled and it is interesting to just look around.
You can tell a lot of effort and planning went into the décor. We were greeted and seated quickly. The only reason I did not give an excellent rating is the service was slow. A very long time between seating, drink orders, food orders and eating.
The mens restroom had a fresh and clean look but only ice cold water in one wash basin. I waited and waited before I moved to the other and found hot water. Maybe a mixing valve problem?
It was over an hour when the food arrived and I was getting hungry and growing impatient. I will say it was worth the wait. It was hot and fresh and served on a beautiful plate. Excellent presentation! I had the fresh scallops. The portion size is not large but the quality, appearance and flavor was top's. The whole group was happy with the meal.
I will come back but would only do so if I had ample time and nothing planned after. The server worked hard and was delightfully pleasant but could have used some assistance.

We had prime rib and lasagna dinners and could not have been more pleased as each were prepared to our order. Service is always prompt and attentive which is much appreciated. Wait staff that recognize us always speak which makes each visit personable and comforting. John, Tony & George promote a high standard in food prep and service that you can count on.
Thanks to all!

This was my favorite restaurant in Lima. I ate here several times and tried to order something different each time. I had many of the appetizers as well as the Tom Yum soup to start my meals. I had curry noodles, pad thai, yellow curry, sesame noodles with chicken and others I cannot think of now. EVERYTHING IS GOOD.
You cannot miss here. This is a Thai restaurant batting well above its league here in Lima. It would do well in any city with a large Thai population. If you are here for only one meal then this needs to be the place you go.

Enjoyed a nice lunch at this local spot. Meatball salad was probably the big hit although the Italian sub was equally pleasing. Both diners shared their liking of their choices with similar praise. The fish sandwich was another choice but probably not as special as...MoreThanks for the great review! We look forward to seeing you again!

Great breakfast with family, very busy so a short wait but everyone was pleased with their food. Thought the corned beef has was good with home fries and an English.
Bacon and eggs with potatoes were the other choices and all were pleased. Next time I think pancakes as several were served and they looked terrific.
Certainly would go back again.

This was our first time here. Loved the prime rib, cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and mixed vegetables. The salad dressing was good too.
