Reviewed By Rajeev PWe were once again back to staying a couple of more nights at this hotel, which is conveniently situated right across the piazza from the Principe train station. This time we stepped into our room only to find there was some maintenance work apparently in progress with some unfinished walls and door trim. We brought to the front desk staff’s attention and she immediately started working on resolving the situation, provided us with a larger, upgraded room and complimentary breakfast vouchers. We had a pair of comfortable nights stay. Kudos to the front desk lady, Grazie Mille!

Reviewed By G-inFranceFound this campsite very expensive 78 euros per night. Charmless reception staff and a weird electricity system requiring a staff member to connect and disconnect,, otherwise adequate sanitaire and beautiful gardens. Quite a good location too.

Reviewed By robertkeusen99The view from the Santuario is beautiful - great location overlooking the sea. It is a religious place dedicated to the apparition of Our Lady on the hill of Arcola, where the sanctuary is located. Very beautiful and well kept. Especially under the altar is the chapel dedicated to the apparition of the Madonna, rich in marble and friezes. When checking in, the reception was not very friendly and in general the staff was not very friendly and helpful either. The rooms are very spartanly furnished. However, I would not interpret it as a negative, as it is a former monastery. You find peace in the silence of the old walls. You definitely get that pilgrim feeling here! There is no toilet in the room. The bathroom is very small and there were no hooks or shelves (and no hairdryer - but pilgrims don't count on that). We only stayed there to sleep and for breakfast. The breakfast was poor and prepared and served on the back burner.... The restaurant was open, but we enjoyed our dinner at "Il Ciliegio", a beautiful restaurant above Monterosso. Soviore can also be easily reached on foot from Monterosso or Vernazza (with a bit of fitness and equipped with hiking boots). The Santuario is in a very good location and there is free parking. A quote from the Buddha says: "Those who are free from the thoughts of thoughts will surely find peace. That is,, after all, the reason why you stay at this place. The price for the simple accommodation is too high, not reasonable and more expensive than our 3*** accommodation in Florence.

Pool Closed, no parking
Reviewed By uteb456Disappointed because of false marketing. The pool was empty ( and will be closed for week. may, june 2022) No breakfast included ( which menas 15Euro per person extra). Difficult parking in a narrow and steep street. Small room wirh just a partial seeview. Owner speeks only Italian and does not understand what she does not want to hear. I would not recommend this palce at all. The only thing they want is money.

Reviewed By JoellulrabeaLove love loved our week here. The welcome is warm, the family who run it are wonderful, my 2 year old loved them. We had great fun in the pool and the loved our little holiday home which has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I was worried it was out of the way but was worth the trip. Breakfast is worth adding as sets you up for the day and you can get ice creams and coffees/drinks etc during the day. It was the perfect little Getaway for me and my son, he was safe where ever we went on site and we Didn’t want to Leave. He enjoyed a horse riding experience close by for only €15 and there is are two lovely restaurants in walking distance. Definitely hope to return again! Thank you so much for your kindness and help.

Reviewed By suebociekExcellent quality room, very affordable. Checking in is by phone but was only a short wait. Good sound insulation from outside, only noise was within the building. The bed was brilliant, I would have packed it if I could. Only one cup for coffee though.

Reviewed By Beat9935Very nice location a bit outside of Genoa but with a stunning view. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is just georgous. Andrea is a perfect host, very friendly, helpful and he can give you many good information. The way up to the hill is narrow and maybe not for everybody.

Reviewed By Go133994Tutto eccellente, soprattutto il panorama! L’automobile viene lasciata al parcheggio più vicino e si fa una breve camminata all’interno del paese. Proprietari gentilissimi e ospitali. Una delle colazioni più buone e abbondanti mai fatte! Anche la pulizia è ottima. I miei bambino hanno esplorato ogni angolo più remoto ed anche lì era pulito! Merita assolutamente la visita ?
