Find out what Wine Bar restaurants to try in Italian Riviera. Liguria, or the Italian Riviera, boasts a bounty of beaches and resort towns, such as tiny but tony Portofino and stylish Rapallo. Hiking trails lead from Portofino to the villages of Cinque Terre. The Riviera of the Setting Sun runs north from Genoa to the French border. Connected by an extensive rail network, most towns make easy daytrips from one another. Genoa is the region's principal city and is home to attractions from its famous Cathedral and the Palazzo Reale to an excellent aquarium.

Each day, after exploring Cinque Terre, we would end up at this small Cantina to have brushetta and wine before going to dinner. It is a quaint wine shop that gives you exceptional service. Their house wine and bottled wines were very good and very reasonably priced. If you do order a bottle, they prepare some complementary snacks to eat with your wine. They also have a selection of different bruschetta that you can order. This was one of our favorite places to hang out in Monterosso.

Great Ligurian food and wine. Very friendly owner and great service. Would happily go back again. No a la carte, menu changes daily and you choose from 3-5 starters, entrees etc. Ask for suggestions and the owner will gladly tell the stories behind the ingredients and dishes.

We went to this bar every evening. It has some outside tables, some in. Mary will get you to sit at any vacant seats outside with people you don't know and it's up to you if you strike up conversation, Mary is great at making you feel welcome and it's a wonderful setting. Best atmosphere, love it!!!

Nino's Brâxerîe is located in the beautiful medieval old town of Liguria, in Albenga. We are accessible only on foot, but a short walk from various "gates of the city", with parking available along the perimeter of the walls. We offer the best cuts of mea

The restaurant is a typical demonstration of the italians will of creating New businesses.A balanced blend between food and innovation, well surrounded by one of the most amazing and typical square you can find in albenga, an amazing wine chart, and an extremely studied design. Excavated from the rocks, along the medieval walls, it's an elegant, open, exciting and unique location. In the heart of Vernazza. In front of you only the sea. We don't accept reservations. Only cash money. I will do my best to meet your wishes.
We stayed for two nights in Vernazza. We popped up to the Vernazza Winexperience both nights for an aperitif and a snack before going out for dinner. It would be worth the climb up the steps just to enjoy the million-dollar view. The wine offerings are the type of selections that DESERVE to be featured on a tasting menu. And the service is welcoming, affable, and laid back. We chose tasting No 1, a three-wine menu including a local white, a sparkling rose, and a red from a region close by. All of them were interesting and came with a wonderful presentation by our server. We also ordered the charcuterie and cheese board and the anchovies which were marinated in EVOO and oregano. The meat and cheese were nicely arranged and the anchovies were off-the-charts awesome. (Seriously, even if you don't like anchovies, try them here. They're so different from the salty buggers we yanks put on our pizzas.)We enjoyed our peaceful hour at this hypnotic location so much that we came back on our second night and ordered a couple of spritzes. These cocktails were well-balanced and made from high-quality Prosecco and natural liqueurs. There were not a lot of options for kids to drink but my 13 year old daughter enjoyed the view, the food, the wine presentations, and smelling the aromas of the wines. If you're in Vernazza, do NOT miss this hidden gem. It's an easy, relaxing way to start or end a night in Cinque Terre.
