It is located 130 km (81 mi) northwest of Genoa by rail, and 7 km (4 mi) from the French-Italian border, on the Gulf of Genoa, having a small harbour at the mouth of the Roia River, which divides the town into two parts. Restaurant, bar, live music. Open from 9.30 till 00.30 Mediterranean cuisine. Tapas in evening. Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Brunch on terrasse lon Sunday. Closed on mondays. Friendly attitude.

We arrived at 11.15 am; most tables had 'reserved' signs on them but were unoccupied. We found and sat at a table without a 'reserved' sign, whereupon a very rude waiter declined to serve us a coffee. A colleague of his then agreed to serve us, but was prohibited from doing so by the first waiter. Pity as the location is excellent, but we will never return.We wonder whether the owner knows that customers are being turned away!Hello, thank you for your comment.The restaurant does not have many tables as you could see and we are fully booked almost every week-end. You sat on a « reserved » table without asking anyone. Usually, in the « modern western world » :), you wait someone to place you.I suggest that next time: you book, and introduce yourself at the entrance to get your table as everyone does.Thanks for understanding.Regards.PLT
