We had dinner here after a long day in the beautiful beaches around the area. Despite we had no reservations, they were able to accommodate our large party just before the dinner time peak - they almost hid us at the end of the terrace, but it's alright, we had a good time.Food was very good, we had different kinds of fish and pasta and everyone enjoyed it. Service was also good, but prices were high as you can expect in this type of location.

Ok, total surprise. No one told us that Recco is known for foccaccia festival, nor cheese stuffed Foccaccia di Recco! We ended up here looking for affordable place to sleep over. I wanted to order regular foccaccia with some cheese, and pesto, but they served me something that looks like a pizza filled with cheese and pesto sauce. I said, i didn't order this - Yes you did, she said! This is by far best thing i ever tasted that has to do with cheese, Italy, and dough. Could be due to surprise factor, but this thing should be advertised better.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. Never had a problem before, but this time I did and when the time came for a "true restaurant owner and/or manager" the person responsible did not even acknowledge that the sausage was so overcooked that could not be eaten. It would have been much easier to replace the dam sausage, but no! Made the waiter aware and took it away, but nobody showed up to apologize and to offer a freshly cooked sausage or something else.By the way, the bill was not adjusted to reflect the problem, either.I do not think I will ever set foot in this place again. Watch out if something is not the way is supposed to be or you expect it to be, they do not even come and apologize and offer to correct it: FULL OF THEMSELVES AND CONDESCENDING!There are other restaurants where the BETTER "owner/manager" act very differently when a customer has some kind of a problem!

I have been to this newly managed restaurant just to try the Pizza.I was really satisfied, well cooked and abundantly garnished (maybe too much), but satisfied my taste. But we also tried and shared some other dishes, quite interesting and very well prepared.Overall the menu is quite new and creative, the place is very neat, plenty of room between the tables, extremely courteous service, great selection of traditional and artisanal beers (with proper advices from the owners on the specs).Have not checked the wine list.Overall I had a very nice lunch, will go back to try more fish dishes.Competitive prices.Recommended.

Really enjoyed this restaurant where we had a lovely table overlooking the vista. Food typically Italian in this warm family restaurant where the owners were very attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the focaccia / the beef / the rabbit. All very good. Would recommend!

from the mixed reviews we almost did NOT go, but as always reviews are about your experience and NOT always are all facts are revealed. IN ITALY, for evening meals go early of book or just miss out. WE always book, do not demand and go with the flow of the staff and at Il Rusticone, a good family restaurant, they delivered. To date, in travelling to Italy over the past 25yrs, their pizza vegatali and griglia octopus was GREAT. We were there 15 mins after opening at 7.00pm, and within 30 mins was half full (60 seater) with locals. Switched on and good food good service, we will be back.

Have been eating here for 7 years and last night was a disappointing evening, a Monday night, arrived at 7.15pm, first table and NO ONE to be seen. What's happening, service slow bordering poor, meals have all changed including portion size and Coperto per head at 2 euro â¦..the VIEW will now save you.May be new owners but get your act together, we will not be back and will live here for another 3 weeks.

Came here for dinner.... had pasta and pizza. It was incredible! Staff amazingly friendly with good english. They also have a copy of the menu in english. Prices are superb for quality of the food and atmosphere. Place has real character and charm. The next day we were flying home, and we made time to visit again for a carafe of wine and pizza. Recommendation: ask for Margherhita, with onion, chilli, and garlic..... AMAZING !!

Restaurant completely renovated, with atmosphere, live music, jazz and atmosphere, Italian cuisine and territory revisited by the chef, you can not miss the delicious cheese focaccia.
Did you ate dinner at the underground metro station in prime time? No? In this place the same feelings. And if you are not local then you have not chance to reserve table. Really! The same feeling as you come to family party where everybody knows each other but not you. And you have to pay for their enjoyment ââï¸. Only waiters try to keep you mood. Piuttosto imparate l educazione e bevete meno che vi fa male, disastri!

After reading the positive reviews here we also had to try out this place because we were craving Pizza. It is a little bit hidden at the side of the old theatre (there's also a big parking place nearby in case you are travelling by car). Service was superb as was the pizza which arrived within a few minutes. Had the white house wine as well as Tiramisu (both also great!). Nitpicking: wish there was a bit more topings on the napoleatan pizza.
