Find out what European restaurants to try in Sanremo. With a comfortable climate that varies little throughout the year, Sanremo has been a favored tourist destination since the mid-1700s, attracting visitors from all over Europe, including heavy contingents of Russian and British aristocracy. For many, the long stretch of beach is the main attraction, but don’t miss the impressive casino or the hillside medieval section of town called La Pigna. Every year since 1951, the city has hosted Italy’s popular Sanremo Music Festival.

Just found this place and sat here enjoying the view after a cracking lunch. Stopped for a coffee on way past and was a must to stop on way back for lunch. A fab team who are super helpful at recommending dishes and very good at helping out those whose Italian is non existent too. We will be back and judging how popular it was with the cyclists all enjoying lunch it is THE place to stop! Thanks xx

After a bit of a hike from our apartment hotel which was unexpectedly 30 minutes away, we arrived and were seated immediately.Within seconds we were served a delicious cocktail and then presented with the menu. Food was delivered very quickly after we had ordered and was extremely good ( Calzone and Lasagne respectively ) we also ordered a bottle of red wine .All this was served by polite and attentive staff . They also ordered us a taxi to take us back to our hotel , Very good value for money and would definitely eat there again,

A beautiful view of the ancient port of Sanremo makes the Dehor del Marinaio restaurant a unique place. Enjoy tasting the excellent fish dishes always fresh, admiring the beauty of a unique location.
Five stars for the mixed seafood appetizer named after the restaurant. Swordfish carpaccio out of this world delicate and fresh, and flavorful. Salmon tartare of hughest quality, as well as two pdelicious fresh and plump prawns and a lightly baked scallop. Main course of calamarata was also full of delicious sea food, if only slightly less inspired. Very kind service and great local red wine by the glass. Definitely worth a trip if you're ready to spend about 80 Euros min. for two.Tks a lot !We hope see you as soon as possible in Sanremo. The management

Been at Solentiname several times this summer. Always great food and warm atmowphere. I love the mixed grill but everything I had has been great choise and served by friendly staff. In summer you can sit outside looking over the seaside walk. Rest of the year inside it's a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Great Place!

We found this place by chance as we cycled along the track from Sanremo and it's just a slight diversion off at Bussana before Riva Ligure. It was October so you couldn't eat outside and that must be an added bonus in the summer. We were welcomed by the two young ladies and decided to have the full menu at lunch time ( as we could cycle some of the calories off afterwards!). There's no written menu as they just prepare what is fresh that day and no choice but for fish lovers like us that wasn't a problem and we cleaned our plates! We had Ligurian squid with potatoes and peas, brandajcun- another local dish of fish mixed with potatoes, mussels, a filet of fish with olives and tomatoes. The first course was unusual and delicious of gnocchi with a fish and herb sauce with clams, the second was grilled prawns, followed by a choice of dessert, all accompanied by the house wine ( the white is fizzy like proseeco and accompanies the fish well), a choice of dessert, coffee and liquers. The service was efficient and friendly and the atmoshpere homely. Thoroughly enjoyable and the quality of everything was way above many restaurants in the area. Bravi. If you're in the area and enjoy cycling I recommend trying this path (you can hire bikes at the start and end of route and several places in the middle) and stopping for lunch at this place.

In the heart of Sanremo, a few steps from the central market, "Manik - L'Officina del Burger" offers gourmet burgers with high quality meats from Piemont, in various combinations, with homemade sauces and craft beers. Complete the menu a few cuts of quali

Had the pleasure of dining here for lunch with family & friends, and not much talking happened because our mouths were full of delicious food & drink! Wine and limoncello are a must to get here.I opted for fresh fish and appreciated the elegant presentation, as it was de-boned for me upon service.Italian fare was also enjoyed by my fellow diners, two of which were kids, who also thoroughly liked this tasty afternoon dining experience. Thank you Melissa! for us it's the best satisfaction to read your review.... we are very happy to have offered to you and your family and friends a pleasant moment and superior experiencesee you soon I hope!!!best regards

very nice service and tasty food, but too few mussels with the pasta. Excellent desserts: tiramisu and chocolat fondant with strawbeerries. Enjoyed the music.
