A tribute to all our senses The restaurant Le Luxembourg WEMPERHARDTâs name is clearly related to its location in the Grand Duchy Luxemburg and offers its 26 guests a touch of classic luxury and modern extravagance. Its clear tasteful interior with a fine
We went to "Le Luxembourg" for lunch and it was a great experience and surprise as we did not expect to find a little germ like this in the very north of the country. The restaurant is small but very cosy, nicely decorated and with large windows giving the possibility to admire the beautiful nature at the back side of the restaurant. The service was excellent and I appreciated that they care about eventual food intolerances which most restaurants don't. We choose the menu they propose and which consists of 2 starters, one main dish ( two options to choose from) and a dessert for a price of 70â¬. The dishes were presented in a very nice way and tasted deliciously. In my opinion, this restaurant would merit one Michelin star.

Brasserie Op der Haart is a brasserie à la française (french-style) in a renovated look with a wonderful covered and wind protected terrace outside. The meals are in part traditional and regional dishes, in part exciting creations from our chefs, in part
The busy brasserie is situated in a shopping center in the North of Luxembourg close to the Belgium border. (even open on Sundays and in fact almost each day of the year you can eat and shop here)The decoration is Tirolian style with a lot of wood.Service is costumer oriented and quick.Food is brasserie style, good choice of meats... large servings.Food and drinks are available for a correct price.Thank you for your opinion, we are glad that you enjoyed your visit at the Brasserie. We try our best to increase the quality of food an service each day, in every possible way. We would be happy to welcome you back someday

Called in for a rest stop here heading back for Rotterdam. Had an excellent cheesy burger & chips... nice modern styling and an array of food and drink for all tastes.

We called the half-empty facility, asking for dinner. Instead we were told, that they dont serve food as this part of the hall, drinks only. We asked if we have to move to another part - there were plenty free tables. We were told not, as they are full (as a hotel). We asked again - there are free tables now, do you have spare food or only for guests - they said they have food but they will not serve as they are full (whatever that means)We left. Completely outrageous and arrogant. Avoid at all costsWe are sad to see, that you gave us a bad review, because you don't get a table in our already fully booked restaurant. Remembering, that you came on a Saturday evening without reservation. Even if you saw some "free" tables, they were prepared/reserved for our hotel guest, which booked our halfboard arrangement and still had to go to table (we explained it to you several times that evening). We certainly do not send guests away, when we still have free tables left. For the next time we just recommend to book your table in advance. Best regards from St. Vith.

On our "Etapes du Bon Goût" trip throughout Belgium we tried Zur Post on the 31/3-1/4 weekend. Without really noticing it we had booked an "Gastronomisches Weekend" arrangement, entitling us to the 7 course Prestige Menu, overnight, breakfast and a "light lunch", which happened to be the (other) 3 courses of the Gourmand Menu. So in 1 stay we had the pleasant (and completely unexpected) occasion to taste almost the entire menu card. For 205 EUR per person + drinks: a fantastic price/quality ratio!Chef Eric Pankert certainly knows the proper skills. He combines the right flavours in contrasting ways (sour, sweet, salt, bitter and umami), with terrific ingredients, just the right portions, short waiting times between courses and served on beautiful and original plates. The service is just perfect. The sommelier makes the proper choices, and he doesn't let your glass stay empty too long. Our verdict: a place to remember and to go back to!

Bought a Groupon voucher for the restaurant that is about an hour from Luxembourg City in the very northern portion of the country. Wow, What a great experience and definitely worth the drive. The Food was amazing, the place is super nice and the staff were very friendly. The quality and presentation was tip-top. Would definitely come back without a Groupon voucher due to the experience. The town is small and if you blink you might miss it but Chez Max is probably the best eats in a 20 km radius. they have a very wide / large menu to choose from and one can take the set menu or a la carte--either way you will likely not go wrong. They also have a large beer and wine selection. Job well done and will come back.

I donât write a negative review easily, but Iâll make an exception for Weweler Muehle. We arrived there and I parked the car on the grass because there was no parking place left, it was in the shade, and there was no sign that it was forbidden to park there. Even before I got out of the car a man came out shouting loudly that I wasnât allowed to park there, and did I do this at home as well (I do actually)⦠Had he asked me (more or less kindly) to move the car I would have done so without any problem; needless to say we just drove away. That is no way to treat customers, especially as we had been there before, but he obviously didnât remember that. I should perhaps have known, because when we were there the first time I asked for a flanbéed pancake and the waitress couldnât manage to light the liqour. We have some experience in the region, and there are far better places to be found within a few kilometers.

We "discovered" this Hotel/Restaurant while staying in the Burg Reuland area (Belgium). One of our walks took us to follow the Our-river, which for a certain stretch forms the official border between Germany and Belgium. We went in Zur Alten Mühle for coffee and were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. We had a look at the menu and decided to come back the next day for lunch. We did not regret this one second ...! It is "venison time" and Menu à la carte is kept simple but each one in our company (9 adults & 3 children) could find its taste; deer, hare, veal, trout ... . If you are a "mushroom"-lover, I can recommend the Porcini-soup (Steinpilz) as a starter, followed by the Porcini-ragout with fillet of trout. served with a fresh salad and a choice of frites, croquettes or steamed potatoes. I heard not a single negative sound from my fellow-eaters. Portions are value for money. Balanced winelist (French, German & Luxemburg wines). Service is excellent. Highly recommended.

I must start this review by apologising that I could leave no gratuities this was not due to any fault in service but my own oversight. We had a most gracious welcome and although there appeared to be a large function arranged, a table was found for us by a window veiw. The service and food were second to none with a good array of choice. We had only pulled in for a light lunch but a look at the menu and we were hooked for a main and a dessert. The chocolate selection and a trio of creme brulee were the perfect end to our visit.Again I must commend the waiter for his service and the chef for her cooking. All present made us most welcome and were interested in our enjoyment.
