Absolutely loved this restaurant from the moment we walked in the door ! A Michelin Star Restaurant with great atmosphere, super friendly staff and incredible food. An extensive menu that was hard to chose from but we finally settled on King Crab legs and the Caprese for primi's with Spaghetti Vongole and Ravioli and shrimp for secondi - all superb - the wine list is also excellent. Could eat here forever! Highly recommend.

We had like 3-5 gelatos in Venice and the Gelato Fantacy was one of our favourite. They offer a wide range of flavours and the staff was really generous to share advice on what flavours to get. I strongly recommend the cheesecake and pistachio ones- they're so good!
The welcoming attitude and customer service was excellent. Two medium cones cost €4.50 each (3 scoops each) but they were still pretty big. Good for when you need a cool off during the beating sun of August, which was the month we were here.

Yes, I discovered the WIne Bars (Bacari) of VENICE Long before the Masses way back in 1995, and All'Arco was my first ever. This is one of the most authentic and oldest Bacaro in Venice and one that serves such traditional CIchetti as Nervetti along with Baccala Mantecato, Polpettini, Sarde en Saor, and more. The people here are great: Great CICHETT, VINI, Ambiance, Energy and Service. A Must DO in VENICE. I LOVE IT !!! Basta!

I’ve been in Italy for over 3 weeks now and I’m pretty sick of eating bread or pastries for breakfast, so I was soooo happy finding this place! This small restaurant is more like a stall but is full of fresh, healthy food options. They...MoreDear Tamsin, thank you so much for your kind review! The meeting point between the island's people and the tourists, the contact point beetwen venetian and tuscan cuisine, the arrival point where you can find warmth and good wishes. This is the atmosphere of La Tavernetta, a small restaurant near the famous Hotel Excelsior and the Lido's Casinò Palace. An historical restaurant, frame of the first edition of Venice International Film Festival and of the later ones. Since 1996 Riccardo, tuscan chef member of F.I.C. (Federazione Italiana Cuochi) for several years, and Adriana, born in Venice who had worked like chef in many hotels and restaurants, have been the owners. Riccardo and Adriana have been able to coniugate passion and quality, teaching them to their son Ottavio, manager since 2009. With the arrival of Ottavio, a skillful and expert sommelier (best sommelier of italy), La Tavernetta becomes more renowned, combining the reputation of its superb
Extremely bad service as the waiter threw a fit (muttering something about too many requestsa) when we asked for plates (for dipping the bread in oil) after they brought the olive oil and tap water upon request. Beef was overdone (were given another plate after informing them) and the pasta cooked simply like it could be done yourself at home. Outdoor Seating was infested with mosquitoes. One of the worst places you could patronise!!

Organised a dinner for 18 at this restaurant and it was superb. We pre agreed a menu, the food kept coming and it was excellent. The owner (and the chef) is also an artist and the decor of this restaurant is exceptional. My colleague and I, who were travelling from all over Europe, had a very enjoyable time in this place, and I would highly recommend it.

This was more about the vaporetto trip and getting away from Venice for a few hours but this small bar and restaurant served decent simple food and an ice cream to walk away with. Very good and not madly expensive.

My GELATO is made daily with fresh high-quality ingredients like milk, fresh fruit, pistachios from Sicily, Piedmont hazelnuts IGP, vanilla bourbon and the best cocoa blends for a fantastic dark chocolate. Every single product is choose and selected to offer the best high-quality GELATO, this is my prerogative and the secret of my success. Enjoy it ;)
Cool selection and great fruit flavors for sure! I had an incredible pear gelato in a small for only 2 Euro. Cute spot right near a canal frequented by gondolas

Suso is passionate about sourcing the best ingredients about offering natural products about satisfying each and every customer’s taste about friendly service. Suso cares about not using artificial colorants food intolerances environmentally friendly materials offering seasonally related products. Suso is original because it is Venetian because it is constantly creating new flavours because it has a unique location.
I wouldn't have imagined that a tiny ice cream shop would be one of the highlights of Venice, but the ice cream here is that good. It's tucked away but not quite off the beaten path, and there are crowds, but it's worth seeking out. One of the best ice creams I've ever had!
