A budget friendly accommodation tSituated at the last point on the way to go Kawah Ijen, laid right at its foot make this place has a superb landscape. We developed this village in order to be a stopping by attraction after or before hiking kawah ijen. We intend to provide you a complete experience while visiting kawah ijen, a local life experience that probably could not be found in other places.
We spent one night in Kavah Ijen Inn. Very simple and clean hostel, but it has everything you need. Set in middle of village near Licin, rounded with nature and rice fields, habited by very friendly people. In our price we had rooms, transport from train station to hostel, transport to Ijen, entrance fee, masks, trek and transport to ferry. And the most important: wonderful guy who took us to Ijen Crater, sulfur miner with opened hart and mind! Best friend we could meet on our way: Sam. He gave us more we expected! We recomend trip with him!

Bamboo & B Bamboo guest house located in Licin. Perfect location for exploring the Kawah Ijen and rest surrounded by nature.
Cool B&B. Location 30 min from Karangasem Station & 60 min from Ijen. There is no local restaurant surrond the hotel but very peacful. The building so unique, made from bamboo. Overall I love this local hotel.

Ijen Miner Family Homestay is a special place to stay during your visit in Mount Ijen Banyuwangi. It is strategically located at the foot of Mount Ijen which is famous for its bluefire phenomenon of the active volcanoe crater. It has also a quick access to the Ketapang Harbour, 2 hours to Bali Island
We stayed at Mr. Ali's homestay for 3 nights and it was the best hospitality we've ever had during our trip to East Java. Firstly, I love the homestay. You can see from the design and appearance, it's so 'Indonesia'. It's not Mr. Ali trying to make his homestay feels like hotel, but to make a decent homestay with Indonesian taste. Not even try to make it to stylish and modern way, it's just the way it is. And I love that. His family, also, one of the humblest people I've ever met. Fyi, this homestay was built by Mr. Ali himself and his father back on 2015. All men in Mr. Ali's family including Mr. Ali were working as Tin Miner before that. Until one day, they're realized that there's another way to make a living. And they managed all they have to build this homestay named "Ijen Miner Family Homestay". His wife, because she's the one that speaks English fluently, arranges everything 'online' such as online booking and website, phone calls, etc. Please understand that not everyone there can speak english well, but they always try their best to make all the guests satisfied with their service. Don't hesitate to ask them when you need anything. To make your trip easier, Mr. Ali can arranges all your needs during your East Java trip, such as Ijen Tour, Banyuwangi, Baluran, until Bromo & Malang trip. You can see the trip details on their website ijenminerfamily.com or contact him directly : +62 812-3453-2179 For me it's all perfect. Thank you for the hospitality Mr. Ali & family.

We serve homestay, tours and transport, tour orgeniztation ijen bromo tours sukomade tours bus tiket s
1) Pick up from the ferry: Prior to our arrival I asked if they could pick us up at the ferry harbour (i read in a comment that they do this). So they did and all worked well. Why I am not happy: they did not tell us how much it would cost (100k). I mean it is okay to charge for the service, but i expect them to tell us that it will cost and how much... 2) Ijen Tour: Now we come to the really bad part. The staff were not at all helpful with this. We asked about the tour on arrival and he (Harris) told us that he needs to check with the government if we can go and also that we have the option of joining a tour group (350k/pax) or a private tour with them(1.2mio). As we were travelling on a budget we wanted to join the group tour. He told us he will check but clearly tried to make us go for the private tour. We had to repeatedly check with Harris if the group tour was available but he always told us he still waits for an answer from the government. There was another couple with a private driver and they kindly offered us that we can join them and all seemed fine. But later one of the staff told us we were not allowed to join the private driver because of driver's company policies(which is all fake and bad role play that they set thing all up). And tour group will not be possible as it is only the two of us and the only option for us would be the private tour... After checking quickly on trip advisor we whatsapped pepe tours and the told us we can join their group for 350k and a driver will pick us up at the guesthouse at 0:45am (it was already 22:30 at this point). So we booked that. To ensure that we easly can leave the guesthouse I asked them if we can pay now already as we would not like to wake them up at 2 am for check out - boy was I wrong. At this point Harris asked if we make the tour and I told him that we are doing it with pepe tours. Then he told me they just had some other guests with whom we could join a tour now for 300k (all lies)... as we already booked the other tour I said no and we went to bed (paid with everything happen to charge). Anyway we just really don't with the topic and want to rest a bit. At midnight they knocked your at door very hard and told us that we have to leave now. we seem pretty confuse in a sec. and somehow got the point that they are really angry that we don't go with them for private tour. In among of no where we seat at the small house from a very nice local guy who give us his place for wait 2 hours before our guide picking us up. that is the whole story.......a little lack of some detail which it is actually they just find us as a walking portemonnaie. So for them no money no friend. Even we just hope at least they as professional for what they are doing and respect the other needs.

Absolute afrader
