This restaurant is part of the Wanda Plaza hotel complex. The food standard is good, with a very extensive menu. Décor is comfortable, modern and quiet. If you are really hungry, they offer a buffet where you can order all you can eat from the menu. Very good value.

This restaurant is popular for good reason, the food is great. You may have to wait for a table. The menu is entirely in Chinese, no pictures though you can easily point to what other people are having. I had a wonderful chicken stewed in ginseng broth that was stuffed with rice and dates. Fairly simple yet perfectly executed and far tastier than my description implies. Friendly staff.

Located close to the bridges linking Dandong to the country across the river, the Dandong North Korean Restaurant brings a bit of The Hermit Kingdom into China. Hostesses, waitresses, and performers wear traditional dress from their home country. Service is great. The food is interesting and different.
