Hotel Anaconda, the best and most comfortable hotel of the region, with more than 20 years of experience, it is the ideal place to spend your next vacation, in a family environment, safe and relaxed. Our experience, guarantees you quality in all services. It is located in front of the park Francisco Orellana, 10 minutes from the airport Vásquez Cobo.50 nice and comfortable rooms with an option of looking out towards the river, we have rooms that are single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple and suites, with air conditioning, mini bar, T.V., cable, hot water and Wi Fi service.
Understanding that even 'the best' hotel in Leticia is still going to be very basic we weren't expecting too much from the hotel. Saying that the rooms were fine - good beds, working aircon. However for the price compared to others around, no WiFi in the room (and even in reception I could not get it to work) and an awful breakfast really made this a below average stay even for basic accom. I would use it if you need a good rest after the amazon and want a good location. The breakfast was awful however considering the amount of fresh basic food that can be found in the town - stale cereal ( I tried three different types), stale crackers, stale bread.

We are a company dedicated to the service provision of hotel and tourism, we have fully equipped rooms to provide an excellent stay with comfortable and comfortable spaces, plus a typical indigenous touch handcrafted of the Amazon region, so that our guests have a different experience between a mixture of tranquility, adventure and contact with nature.
I was at Casa Hotel Maune about a year ago. It was my second time staying there. The rooms I stayed in were very large. The owners are very pleasant. If you speak Spanish, it is helpful. You can email them in English and they will reply to you in English. It is a nice walk into town. You must go to the park in the evening to hear and see all the different kinds of parrots. You MUST take a boat ride on the Amazon. Leticia is a wonderful place. We also took a trip to Parque Ecologico Mundo Amazonico. It was my second visit there. I enjoyed just as much as the first time. We took different trails each time. Be sure to have lunch there. Rafael will pick you up and return you to your hotel.

Floating cabin at the amazon river
A special place and a unique experience within the Amazon. We really enjoyed the place. Located on the Amazon River. Allows river cruises and nearby sites such as the giant lotus reserve. The place is run by Ahuvia who is happy to help with avrithing. The hotel staff has a service approach. An experience not to be missed. Laticia by at self is a very interesting places that should be part of the visit (the unique birds park for example) .

In the heart of planet there's a place where Colombian, Peruvian and Brazilian culture, have their meeting point that place is known as Waira Suites Hotel. This place is a paradise that mixes luxury and comfort typical for the river of Amazonas. Our rooms have many amenities such as comfortable beds, tv cable, air conditioner, shower with warm water, room service and security box in case you need it. In order to improve your experience Waira Suites Hotel, has an amazing restaurant where you can find international food and typical food of the region, there's also pool, meeting room, other social areas and laundry.
we stayed there for only one night when we returned from our trip to the Amazon. the place is located well, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast choice is better than in most other places we stayed. the only negative point was the staff. we felt as if they could have cared a bit more. we really had trouble booking flights because of the bad internet connections and when I asked them if I could use one of their computers they reacted annoyed & said that they do not have internet connection either - how if you can book a room via booking?!

We decided to do something different this year and chose Yurupary for its more central location. The hotel is charming, our room was large and overlooked the swimming pool. The bed was very comfortable. Only one plug meant there was a lotof changing over of phone chargers! Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the pool. The offering is rather basic, to be honest. The Amazon is full of fruit, and I was surprised there wasn't more on our breakfast plates. While we were there the bar was being remodelled which did cause some noise and dust. Our biggest headache was the wi-fi, but then it's a big big problem in the region. If you need to stay in touch, it is something to bear in mind. When we come back to Leticia, this is the only hotel we'd consider.

This small town is located at the southern end of Colombia, surrounded by the vast ecological biodiversity of the Amazon region, a corner where three nations – Colombia, Brazil and Peru – greet each other every morning. Leticia is a territory of convergence, where various indigenous communities provide an ethnic multiplicity without equal. You may interact with communities such as the Huitoto, the Ingas, the Nukak and the Ticuna. Their culture, their beliefs, ritual and more, will make you understand their relation with nature in an adventure filled with mythical fantasy. The Decalodge Ticuna is located at the hair of this population, a modern property with international architectonical design, that combines colors and uses large format wooden-carved crafts and figures to create an Amazonian environment. Only 10 minutes from the Vásquez Cobo airport and close to the shores of the wide Amazon River, considered the largest in the world. The rate includes Breakfast and Dinner. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result.
We stayed for 4 nights in February. A booking of three people with two rooms, my wife and I in one and my father-in-law in another. Upon arrival it was made clear that early check-in was unavailable and we'd have to wait until 3pm even though it was plain to see the rooms were ready and the previous guests were long gone. Two hotel staff gave lengthy talks about the facilities but mainly on tours and only in Spanish with no effort to translate or alternatives for non-spanish speaking guests. Do your research and look around at other tour companies, we used George of the Jungle as they have English speaking guides. It became apparent that no hotel staff spoke English even the management and there were zero attempts to assist with the language barrier. Luckily for me my wife and father-in-law are bilingual, Spanish and English speaking therefore had to translate the necessary information. That may sound simple but continuously translating is tiring and not what you want to be doing on a restful holiday. After lunch and a walk we returned to reception only to find one of the rooms wasn't ready as the a/c was not working. We all went to the room that was ready which was mine and my wife's. Pleasant enough although the room was very hot. It was after 4pm and we hadn't heard whether the 2nd room was ready so headed to reception who called up maintenance and said it was ready, no initiative to contact us, we were constantly having to chase. My father-in-law gets to his room and the a/c hasn't been fixed so has to get maintenance back in and luckily gets it working. At this time we have a look at his room and it's double the size of ours which was baffling as he was single occupancy and we were a pair. It became apparent the room my wife and I were staying in didn't have working a/c but it was late and got through the first night with the fans. We informed reception of the issue but they said we had to be in the room whilst they checked the problem, we were on our way to a tour so had to revisit the issue upon our return that afternoon. Maintenance did some checks and convinced us that the unit was cooling down and will be working shortly. It did not cool down and by the time we came back to our room it was late and we were too tired to have someone in our room trying to fix the a/c unit especially as my wife was in the early stages of pregnancy and needed to rest. Additionally I was chasing a huge cockroach out of the room. On the third day we spoke to reception again but they said the same thing, we needed to be there so the issue was only checked in the evening and they asked us to leave it on whilst we had dinner and get back to us. To no surprise the unit was still not working, we returned to reception, by this point it was 9pm, and they finally offered a resolution which was to change rooms. Luckily it was next door so didn't have to transport our belongings far. During the move we noticed for the 2nd time a large cockroach in the room. We were told the new room had been checked, cleaned and the a/c was working which it was. My wife then finds five or six animal droppings by the side of the bed, from what we could see these were mice pellets. We were furious, it was after 9.30pm and were exhausted. We complained to reception although my wife had to do all of it as they could only speak Spanish. We were met with apologies and maintenance was back again to clean and disinfect the area. We were reassured it was bat droppings which was not reassuring as it was still animal droppings in our new room which we were told was cleaned. I must add that the room was still the same size as the original, there was no gesture of goodwill after all the nonsense to upgrade us. The night management informed us that he would raise the complaint to his manager the following day. We didn't hear anything the following day until the afternoon when we had to chase the complaint at reception. This manager told us pretty much the same as the previous and said they would raise it to their manager. I'm sure you can see where this is going. Upon check out our complaint had not been raised to senior management and we were not compensated for any of the inconvenience caused during our stay. A little bit about the half-board food - breakfast is average at best, no menus provided. The waiting staff have to recite the changing menu everyday, this is exactly the same for dinner. Unfortunately for my wife and father-in-law they had to translate for me although you get the idea after a few days. Regarding the dinner, I don't understand why an apparent 4 star hotel would be serving such poor meals. The plates were over thought and essentially trying too hard. We soon realised that eating out was a far better option. We dined twice at the hotel and both times were unsatisfactory. The first night white fish was served but it was covered in a dijon salad dressing, it was a disgusting combination! The 2nd time I was served dry fish combined with and unappetising fruity sauce. One of the starters was a couple of thinly sliced pieces of aubergine with onion and tomato drizzled with a flavourless dressing. My wife was equally appalled by her meals. The strange thing is we dined at some very unassuming eateries in Leticia and their food was overwhelmingly more appetising than the hotels, go figure! The day we spent at the pool which is very nice we were ordering drinks when it came to my turn I went to the bar, practiced my best Spanish ordering two cocktails and three bottles of water. Most would think that to be a simple order however after 45 minutes no drinks had been served. I went to chase and I had to reorder with a different waiter. No explanation as to what happened, very frustrating! Finally to top things off at 7.30am on our last day an alarm sounds which is unpleasant at the best of times and goes off again at 8.23am. To conclude, the hotel itself is nice and has good amenities although could definitely do with maintenance particularly in the rooms. Overall the staff were attentive however at times lacked communication, initiative and complete disregard when dealing with complaints. I believe educating the staff to be more patient with non-spanish speaking guests is a must and having at least one employee at hand to assist is a necessity. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as for the price and service you could stay somewhere far more traditional and authentic for a lot less.

Hotel Amazon bed and breakfast is ideally located at the heart of Leticia, only one block away from the central Plaza Parque Santander. This means we are close to restaurants in the center of town and the main port. The hotel offer nice bungalows accommodation in Leticia as well as day-tours and jungle packages : 2 Days or 3 Days at a lodge with activities. Hotel Amazon B&B have a lovely green garden and breakfast area. All our bungalows have a hammock and there are plenty of places to rest outside the rooms as well. At our terrace we have a small Fruit Bar where clients can sit down, listen to some Brazilian music and enjoy a Caipirna. For the ultimate relaxing experience we have recently installed a Jacuzzi with a roof, so that our guests who arrive tired from their full day tour or jungle package can take a relaxing bath, whether it's sunny or raining. We are also able to offer a laundry service, bikes to rent tours and Spanish classes.
Myself and friends stayed here for 3 nights recently, we arrived just to ask to see if rooms available, the team were so nice and helpful, within 10 minutes we had our rooms. The rooms are huge, incredibly clean, and great air conditioning and a fan if needed. The bed linen as good as any 5 star Hilton, the same for the towels, all washed and ironed at the hotel. Breakfast included, and was excellent, eggs bread, coffee and juice, all served with a smile. We looked at a few hotels on foot before fining this place, take it from me this is the one to stay at, it actually made our stay crossing this hotel. Ducks walking around the hotel grounds, just made it all feel so nice. Well done hotel team, and thanks again

We had a great time. The hotel had everything you could want - good food, cocktails, nice and helpful people, excursions, great rooms and a swimming pool. Visiting the indigenous village was a highlight. We would come back!

The owner is the best! He has many activity packages to choose from! At the beginning, prices may seem a bit high, but after trying to replicate these programs on our own for cheaper, my friend and I ended up paying more. Take advantage of a pre-packaged, tour-guide provided, and safe experience! Lodges are clean and big! Food is delicious and cheap! Lodge is 11km away from Leticia. A bus to the city comes every 20 mins and stops right in front of the lodge (2.5k COP) - very practical and cheap! Thank you so much for this amazing Jungle experience! 5-stars for this perfect experience!
