We had dinner here on our first day in Zakopane. The interiors are really charming and inviting and we thought that the prices were really good so we decided to give it a try. Food was good but nothing special, portions were OK for the prices we paid. Service was quick and efficient, but there was no personal touch. A big minus is that they don't take cards. Overall you can't expect much on this price range.

Nothing wrong with this place, but there are areas they could improve.Firstly, the service was good and one of the younger staff spoke good English which helped, menu had English. The portions were too big and therefore off putting, we saw â doggyâ bags being taken out.On the evening we went, late June, there was not much atmosphere and we ended up in an empty place before we finished. Please note, the menu stated cooking finishes at 20:30.

We visited the cafe three times during our stay in Zakopane and it was a joy to step back in time and get away from the tourist places. The lady who runs the place was friendly and the coffee and cakes were the best we had experienced in the town. It is worth a visit.

We were recommended this place by our airbnb hosts and it didnât disappoint. Our waiter was a really friendly, nice guy, who we spoke to in rusty German :) We had baked trout which was really good, which came with french fries, horseradish, and a side of sauerkraut; and a pancake with spinach and cheese, with a carrot salad. The beer was good, and the chocolate soufflé was delicious... all finished off nicely with a walnut vodka. Theyâre super busy for good reason

A friend and I visited for a traditional Polish meal and we were not disappointed. Quality of food and price were good, but the service was better than expected. The server worked hard to ensure we chose the right brandy drinks, explaining the local beverages on offer. An enjoyable evening.

The restaurant "U Grandson" is located in a wooden house, built in 1850 by his brother Sabaly - Joseph Krzeptowski . This is the first story house in Podhale. Here housed the first restaurant, the first store, the first post office, and later - also the f

Good food for a low price and quick (self) service. I went there alone and really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere, which is not easy to find for a solo traveler in crowded Zakopane.

We went to this restaurant twice during our trip to Zakopane, it was that amazing! They offer a wide range of authentic Polish meals that donât break the bank! The staff were particularly friendly and helped us pick the most tasty and satisfying meals. The traditional live music also adds to atmosphere. We would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant during your trip to Zakopane.
