Breakfast was from 8am to 10am and on our first morning there we asked for a 730am breakfast as we were there to compete in a sporting event and they reluctantly agreed. We asked for the same on the second day and they point blankly refused. She I went down at 745am the next morning there were a number of guests just finishing their breakfast. The lady serving the breakfast on the two mornings was not only abrupt but rude. We had dinner there on both nights and the food was ok but the service was dreadful. The rooms were clean and spacious but absolutely no sound proofing so if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Will definitely not be returning here again.

In the center of Leopoldsburg you can find a little restaurant which serves good quality food. Especially the spare-ribs and steaks are very nice !!

Location location location…the tavern is located meters away from the very scenic and quiet canal of Beverlo and cycling node 275 of the famous 2000 Km long Limburg cycling routes. The hard work of the staff and the investments of the owners pay off: It’s a very successful place, partly because of the location, but of course not just that, also because you can enjoy on a fantastic outside Terrace one of the famous Belgian beers, eat pancakes, etc when you’re on a walk or a bike trip or have a nice lunch or dinner. As I already mentioned: during the summer the place is usually very busy, so if you want to be sure to have a table for dinner or lunch you better book one in advance. The choice of dishes is extensive, good honest Flemish food :-). Plenty of energetic and young staff but sometimes it’s so busy that service could be a little slow. But nothing to really worry or get stressed about: just relax and enjoy the location and view, the selection of beer, Deserts etc…

We were there to celebrate my mother on her birthday, the restaurant was pretty new (last year or two years ago, I don't remember exactly)they were pretty strange, very impersonal, obviously deranged by the fact that aside the aperitifs we didn't orders wine or other alcohol with our meals. We were 3 adults and 2 children, it was a strange combination of meals that we could order with this party. I don't think that I'm willing to go there soon. At the end they even charged something that we didn't order.

Cooking inspiringly with vegetables & in a vegetarian style is not a given for every cook. De Gastvrijheid went beyond our expectations and serves amazing dishes, a pleasure for the eye and a real treat for the tongue. Even when having meat eating friends & family (or being a meat eater yourself) you won't be disappointed. Everyone open to explore new things, letting new tastes and textures in will find this an incredible experience. Once you have discovered this place, I'm sure you will be heading back soon for more!

Eenvoudige maar lekkere, eerlijke gerechten en ruime porties. Inrichting is wel eenvoudig en niet echt heel gezellig maar de vriendelijke bediening maakt al veel goed.

Elit is a basic Turkish restaurant serving Kebab,Durum and Pizza for example. Fourniture and decoration are very simple and basic but the food and service is good and fast. If you become a regular costemer they even remember your preferred food. Prices are very acceptable for the quality you get.

A few days ago, we happened to stay at a B&B not far away from De Grammofoon and this seemed to be the closest place for some food. Food presentation was something unexpected - the steak tartare we ordered may not have been cut with a knife (as announced in the menu) but, God, was it impressive to look at and tasty (alas chips were very disappointing). In general, food here was decent (for instance the asparagi), the service correct (especially the lady who runs [owns?] the place, who was happy to hear our suggestions), although a more open attitude to foreigners would be most welcome in this (very closed to the outside world) area of Belgium. What is worth, though, mentioning is the surprising variety of malt whiskeys one can find here and the decoration that makes this place really inviting.
