We also use liquors and liqueurs & sometimes they make it into the cakes;) Need we say more?
We wanted a little sweetness after a good lunch up the street. Our group tried 5 different flavors and they were all delicious. (Creme Brûlée, chocolate revelation, Mocha, salted caramel and lemon tart). We were happy to find a couple of gluten free options, which still tasted great. Will definitely return here when back in Wilmington!

Pizza was good however the system for ordering and pickup is awful. The phone answering was so difficult to hear on the phone it was almost impossible to order. ohine person was rather rude, Didn't greet on the phone, was impatient, forgot to tell my husband and another patron their pizza was ready even though ahe knew they were.waiting and it was placed in top of the oven.
Probably won't order again.
Inside dining is very limited and very crowded.

French bistro style with a Belgian twist.
There is nothing but great things to say about Caprice Bistro. The main level dining area is reminiscent of an authentic French Bistro. White table cloth & pounded tin ceiling tiles. A bit more formal than upstairs bar/dining which is darker,& more intimate. Either would be fine to enjoy great preparations using incredibly fresh ingredients and impeccable service. Our dinner for two was simple, and satisfying, starting with a champagne cocktail called a Brown Sugar that was excellent, and a perfect dry vodka martini. Went with a bottle of French Sauvignon Blanc for dinner - reasonably priced & a perfect compliment for our food orders. We shared a warm vegetable appetizer of thinly sliced zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant, sweet red pepper & fingerling potato topped with goat cheese. Yummy. For main we had the grilled caesar salad & the large plate of mussels Provencal w/pommes frites. Salad was perfect, not over dressed and seasoned nicely. The mussels were one of the best plates I have ever had . All were plump and so plentiful, I could not finish the order! Much as we wanted a dessert, like most of the entrees, it will have to wait for another time. We will be back soon!

Everyone else liked their ice cream except me. The peppermint wasn’t very minty and the red and green chunks tasted like plastic. Very disappointed. The selection is amazing with ice cream, candy, chocolate and more. There always seems to be a crowd so be ready to stand in line,

Pet's never lets us down. The family went there for dinner. Around the table, we had grilled dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, and the fantastic Pet's fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We like that you get to customize each order and the staff is so attentive with drink refills.

Sunday after Mass, enjoyed a delicious cup of decaf coffee and a yummy warmed muffin. Friendly service, and easy to park out back, and see all of the other little shops in the Cotton Exchange, before settling in to people watch here. Love this place!

We often stop bu the Gusto Grill when passing through Leland. It is located conveniently in the Waterford Shopping Center just off Rt. 17 South. We often have the Gyro which is loaded and tasty. Recently, wanting to eat somewhat on the light side, we had a small Cesar with Gyro meat. We expected 3 or 4 slices of meat. The top of the salad was covered with moist, hot gyro meat. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed lunch of very good New England clam chowder and a pastrami sandwich. Chowder was made in house and the sandwiches feature Boars Head meats.

Cape Fear Seafood Company is a locally owned & operated restaurant specializing in regional American seafood, signature dishes, hand cut fish, steaks, and chicken along with freshly made desserts all served in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
I've been three times to eat now, and I absolutely love a few things, and a couple fell flat. Service is good, somewhat slow each time, but very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.
Salads are fresh and tasty, we really enjoyed the crab dip and the crab scampi risotto appetizers. Get the risotto cakes. They are delectable.
The fried seafood is good, but the oysters are better at Pirate's Table. However, they kill it on their elevated entrees. Saltimbooca with the chef's choice of fish is a delicious dish, the lobster and shrip risotto was very good, we've had the Cabo Fish Tacos and they are also very good. The night I tried the fried seafood, I got whipped potatoes as a side. I cannot recommend them. The texture is that of instant potatoes and so is the taste. I was assured they make real potatoes there, but can't confirm it.
Lastly the Pot de Creme au Chocolat is a dessert that is well worth the price and calories. It's absolutely sinfully good.
