Leixlip (/ˈliːkslɪp/ or /ˈliːslɪp/; Irish: Léim an Bhradáin) is a town in north-east County Kildare, Ireland. Its location on the confluence of the River Liffey and the Rye Water has marked it as a frontier town historically: on the border between the ancient kingdoms of Leinster and Brega, as an outpost of The Pale, and today on Kildare's border with Dublin.

Last Sunday was a very special Lunch for our Mum's 100th Birthday. From the moment we arrived we just knew it was going to be amazing.
The staff had arranged our table in the Bar area so it was accessible for our guests who varied in age. They also (without request) had organised a 2nd table on which we were able to display our Cake, cards, Balloons etc. This helped create a real Party atmosphere.
Caroline and her wonderful professional staff were so attentive, kind and genuinely concerned that we were all enjoying the occasion.
The food was excellent. There were 16 of us and we were all happy with the quality and
quantity of their very impressive Lunch menu
Our experience at Becketts was exceptional due to the wonderful staff who really made our Occasion special. We could not have chosen a better restaurant for such a special Occasion. Our Mum had an amazing time and loved her Fish dish.
Thank You All.

First time in a long time since we dropped in to Da Vincis. Lovely friendly welcome from our waitress. We shared a starter of buffalo wings - wow were they spicey - but yummy too and plenty for two. Served with free italian bread tasties topped in a reduced balsamic to bridge the gap to our mains. I had Penne chorizo in an interesting creamy sauce with chicken and her nibs had the beef cannaloni a la casa in tomatoe sauce with basil served with a healthy helping of garlic bread. Cleared our plates with no room for afters or coffee. Ill be back for more as the Penne Tikka caught my eye.

My wife and I called in to the Village Inn, Main Street, Celbridge last Sunday after services for a quick drink. While there, we looked at the menu which was very appetising. We both had the chicken and mushroom starter with chips between us. This comes with side salad. We also enjoyed lovely guinness to wash it down. This was our first time here since renovations recently and we were very pleasantly surprised. Although the creamy sauce in the vol-a-vants was nice, it lacked that something to make it triumphant. Still, the starter was well presented and tasty. Good spot the "Inn", and we will be back.

We were in Leixlip for a week and dined at Alvitos twice. We had the fried mushrooms, duck papparadelle, seabass involtini and cheesecake. The second time we split the beetroot salad, onion rings, Italian sirloin with mushroom sauce cooked on the hot stone, and chocolate fondant cake for dessert. We enjoyed the food very much except for a small part of the steak that couldn't be chewed, and the fact that it was already past medium rare when they brought it to us on the stone. We removed it right away before it cooked more. I think I would try the filet if I went there again. We had excellent service the first night when we had a waiter. The second night, I think the manager had to handle the entire restaurant by himself so it was still good in spite of that. We enjoyed the hot stone cooking so much that we went on Amazon and ordered one for ourselves! We would definitely go there again.

Sweet little hotel very personal easy with details not wheelchair friendly much but some accessible areas into it great for small functions and weddings etc... not much parking areas but staff are nice rooms are comfortable and food is ok but only if you don't mind small portions right beside a hill diner and two Chinese restaurants and few feet down is Indian if you prefer something different

Having recently reviewed this nice restaurant, I need to correct some details,. Having got a communicae from the owner I presume, my wife did not have Avacado for starter. She did have stuffed Aubergines which were a delight. The main course I mentioned of Chicken was probably grilled and not panfried , as I stated. The overall meal was very good, but as I stated, was a little dry for me. I am happy to correct my review, and shall be back to Da Marios if welcome.

We decided to celebrate our 50 years of married life at the Seasons restaurant, keeping it low key and we did not inform the restaurant of our event , we decided just to have immediate very good friends along, When we arrived on Saturday evening imagine our surprise when we walked in, there was a special table laid out with gold runners, flowers on the table and attention to detail, we had not mentioned to anybody yet here unbeknown to us was a wonderful display of very attentive staff and management somehow they got wind of our special occasion , Thanks a million to Padraig and Ger for the bouquet of flowers for my wife. Our friends and us enjoyed a very memorable meal (as always) the ambience being so good we stayed much longer than normal, Seasons restaurant and particular Omar our head waiter and friend thanks for a fantastic end to a perfect day of celebration. We love eating here at the Seasons, and keep on coming back. Phew.

We had a wonderful evening here recently, lovely setting and atmosphere with friendly attentive staff. Gorgeous food, we started with crispy duck with pancakes and it was plentiful and delicious. Our main courses, Kung Po, Beef in oyster Sauce, Chicken Satay were authentic and tasty and served promptly. This restaurant is always busy as it has an excellent reputation for its cuisine...one of the best it this area. Don't forget to book in advance. We had a lovely evening, thank you
