This is the first time I've left a comment about my local restaurant it's quite upsetting really. There is music playing in the background quietly which is quite entertaining for the guests they have there. I was in the snug on my phone showing my friends what I do in my spare time and then approached by a member of staff who told me to turn it down was a complete joke. The staff there need to get a Grip on them selves and show a little bit more respect for there locals.

We stayed for a week in early September in the simpler of the two available rooms. It was spacious, airy, quiet, well equipped and decorated elegantly. With the equally spacious en suite bath and shower room the whole suite was triple aspect looking onto countryside on the Herefordshire Shropshire border. One other couple was staying but we didn't meet them and were waited on personally throughout, but left to our devices when it suited us. Our hosts could not do enough for us and the breakfasts were excellent. We intend to visit again as they have self catering accommodation opening in the near future.

Came here and stayed in Stable Cottage. Very warm and friendly welcome, lovely location, comfortable beds, beautiful decorative and thoughtful touches, and the best breakfast ever. So wonderful to get away from it all in peaceful surroundings. So relaxing. Can't fault anything.

As others have said, these are lovely hosts who make every effort to make sure you stay is as good as it can be. The food is excellent value as well. Very happy with our two nights away. There is a limited menu partly because of the times that we live in - the fish that we had on Friday night was cooked beautifully.
