We wanted somewhere close to The Curve Theatre, but not your typical mainstream restaurant, to have an anniversary meal for catching a show. How lucky were we to fall upon this little gem! From outside I was a little dubious what it would be like inside, but once through the door it was great. Amazing surroundings, friendly staff, absolutely delicious food and great price! We cannot fault this restaurant at all. We will definitely return and happily recommend.

This was our first visit and we quickly discovered why the restaurant has earned its excellent reputation. We were served drinks while we spent time studying the three course menu and were delighted with the three different nibbles that preceded the meal.Throughout the evening, the combination of flavours and attention to detail was extraordinary. We were brought homemade breads and butter before our starter and just how such a crisp crust was achieved with a feather light interior was beyond us.Service was efficient but unobtrusive and there was just enough theatre in the presentation and introduction of each dish to make the evening memorable. We could not fault a single item and will certainly be looking to return to try either the lunch or tasting menu.

Enjoy a contemporary informal dining experience within a traditional country pub setting or just come for a drink in The Windmill Inn's relaxing bar atmosphere. Open Every Day Lunchtime and Evening (Restaurant closed Sunday evenings).
Lunch with friends, excellent service and willingness and attention by staff and chef to adapt main course dishes, with positive results for someone on a restricted diet - not many places we can go and get this sort of response - making for a quality experience.

We went for a girly catch up. One of our party had been before but I hadnât. The menu looked promising but it actually delivered. Wow. Just yummy. I had the âsurf and turfâ which was fillet steak and prawns/mussels. Yum. Loved it. My type of food. The house wine was tip too too

I wouldn't say that there is anything extraordinarily exceptional about this restaurant but then again it doesn't set itself out to be anything other than a good local, restaurant. Food is good and tasty, well-presented, nice quality, reasonably price - I was not disappointed. My only criticism is that it was a bit noisy as a lot of the tables were for large groups and the waiting staff didn't seem particularly knowledgeable and were not overly attentive. Would return but am not in a rush to do so.

Welcome to Sapori! Benvenuti! âSaporiâ is Italian for âflavoursâ and this encapsulates the character of this authentic Italian family restaurant, run with passion and dedication. Situated in the heart of Anstey, Sapori is only 10 minutes drive from Leices
Pizza was sent back. It was either not cooked or very soggy; either way not a nice pizza - no apology was made; it was clearly me in the wrong. It was replaced with pasta and tomato sauce - which was very small. It had been cooked with cheese too which I didnât want; when asked he claimed it was yellow tomatoâs in the dish. That tasted of cheese? Wonât be back. Await off hand response as you will see in other negative reviews. Prego. We serve an authentic Neapolitan pizza featuring a handmade dough that is carefully proved over 2 days - if that is not to your taste, then we are very sorry to hear it, but as natives of Campania we will claim to know a thing or two about how an authentic pizza is made. Our pasta is also carefully handmade, and the sauce we made for you incorporated yellow tomatoes, as you were informed during your visit. If the serving size was not sufficient, again there are a number of other establishments that will happily provide you with over-sized portions of poor quality pasta, perhaps you would be happier visiting those? We hope this is the response you were hoping for. We respond to negative reviews with honesty - where we've made a mistake we hold up our hands and try to learn from it. Where it is the customer who has the wrong end of the stick then we like to gently explain why that is the case, so that no further misunderstandings arise.
