Nice meal and nice surroundings. Very Mediterranean style food. Dolmas (stuffed vine leaves), hummous, falafel, olives etc. Good prices too. I was disappointed, however, to receive my cold drink with a plastic straw in. Unfortunately I didnât realise they would do this so all our drinks had them in. If Iâd know I would have refused the drink. My daughter wanted her left over pizza boxing up and it came out in a polystyrene tray too. Now this is heartbreaking to me as polystyrene is terrible for the planet and cannot be recycled. If youâre listening la cafetiere please switch to paper straws (if you need to provide straws at all) and paper boxes for take outs. Thank you. Dear jjpink34It is so unfortunate for us that you gave us such inadequate rating because of your views about using plastic.Paper straws changes drinks taste and on that occasion we ran out of cardboard pizza boxes.You could have voiced your views and suggestions to us without a lowered rating. We listen to all our customers but we hope that they fairly review the work that's been done to get the meal and the service to you that you enjoyed.

We had a few drinks upstairs - the service was first class, had a good selection of cocktails. We went downstairs to the restaurant then things started to go downhill. The restaurant is beautifully set out but the quality of food was not what I'd expect at this price point. We ordered pâté for starters which wasn't fresh and tasted like cheap supermarket pâté. The confit was good. For mains we ordered the Chataeubriand which was very average and I'm not even sure it was fillet either. It was the worst one I've had. The bearnaise sauce tasted like somebody had poured a gallon of white wine vinegar in it which made it inedible. We asked for a side of garlic butter but ended up with something that resembled an avocado dip. Overall good service let down by the poor quality food.Dear dkeller83,Thank you for taking the time to review your recent dining experience with us. Sunday lunch,my husband and I decided we fancied a proper meal. We had not been here before but had heard good reports. Service was excellent and as I was in a wheelchair we wEre placed close to the buffet.Loved the variety in order and then the meat started coming, beautifully cooked tender juicy steak, the seasoning on the meat is divine just the right amount of flavour without covering the beautiful meat.Lamb with a delicate hint of mint. Servers were attentive without being intrusive.This was a wonderful experience and wonderful meat.Will definitely be back

Great roof top bar with lovely vibe!Restaurant downstairs and not big but felt had a nice feel!Great food and excellent Desserts with a couple of unusual ones which were excellent!Very good staff with excellent service.Only downside no champagne on Menu and has this was a celebration it would have been nice although we had a bottle of English sparkling wine it wasnât the same and expensive!!
