Visited Monday evening for my mums birthday and had a really enjoyable time. Staff were attentive and friendly- we were all really impressed with a young waitress who surprised my mum with a candle on her dessert and sang happy birthday, was so thankful for that- she really was a star and looked after us all night! The Food at the olive tree was very good, and we didn’t feel we had to wait a long time to wait for it. We are all planning on coming again soon.

The Seven Stars is one of Ledbury's oldest inns. Located in the heart of this picturesque market town, we have a commitment to customer comfort and home-grown, locally sourced food. We have our own farm near Malvern that provides us with all of our pork, lamb, chicken, duck and eggs, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables, and Turkey and goose for Christmas. What we can't produce ourselves we source from the best of local. Our beef is from Hereford cattle from a Ledbury farm, handpicked for size and quality, and our bread comes from a local bakery. We also stock sparkling wine made from vines grown in nearby Worcestershire.
On a recent trip to Ledbury my husband and I decided to pop into this pub for a late lunch. It was fairly quiet and we were able to take our dog in and they were still serving food. We sat down and both decided we'd have a coffee before ordering our food. Nobody came to take our orders, despite there being 3 young people behind the coffee machine. I went and ordered the drinks and asked for some menus, which were then brought to the table. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered the Turkey bap with pigs in blankets, stuffing and fries.
We had finished our coffee, nobody came to ask if we wanted any other drinks, despite there stil being 3 at the coffee machine, discussing going to the gym and how turkeys are killed! Not really what you want to listen to.
The food arrived, it looked well presented and that's where it ended for me! Inside my slightly stale bap was the roughest looking dark meat Turkey with gravy, thick gravy. I would think the scraggy Turkey had been warmed in the gravy and then put in the bap. My salad tasted sour, so this was left uneaten, as was all of my bap, so I ate the fries - expensive fries at £12! My husband ate his without pleasure but he was hungry and had no complaints or praise.
Again, we were left to it as the staff continued to chat and one young barman man sat near us to eat his lunch.
My husband went outside with the dog and I sat at the table, hoping someone might come and ask if we wanted anything else, no one did. So I went to the bar and asked for the bill, not a word was said about my almost untouched plate of food. So I said I was not happy with my Turkey bap, in fact I wasn't expecting gravy in it and I had even asked to check the menu and mentioned to the girl that I didn't like the gravy and she just said 'oh sorry' The man, I think may well have been the manager just said " I'll get the menu number changed" and that was as far as his customer service and pleasantries extended.
I paid the bill, obviously no tip and will not be going back there.

Warmly welcomed into this contemporary, stylish Indian restaurant. Good menu with some very novel, interesting choices on the fish menu. I can recommend the swordfish, beautifully presented, gently spiced and well cooked, moist and full of flavour.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable.
The restaurant was busy and it was great to see regulars being enthusiastically greeted as old friends.
I had a main dish which was described as "medium" . I would have preferred more heat although the flavours and spices came through well. I think the definition of "heat" varies from restaurant to restaurant and you get to know what to request. We enjoyed all we ordered and the naan is the best we have tasted in many a year.
Would return. Would advise booking.

Cafe/Coffee shop, small friendly with great food & service. Gourmet Burger Bar - Thursday & Friday evenings from 6pm. Takeaway available.
We stopped at this cafe for a light bite. Although portions were not huge, none of us left feeling hungry.
The food all seemed to be homemade and was freshly prepared as ordered. I have to admit when it said chips, that they wouldn't be crisps. Ask for fries.
Good service and pleasant atmosphere.

Have to say the food experience was terrific and great shout out to the kitchen.
My issue is one around management of the experience. No greeting when we arrived indeed we had to go and look for the manager. Staff young and need guidance in hospitality. They took forty minutes to produce a menu? Lots of chatting amongst themselves and looking at phones.
No cane and said, this is nice or Chef recommends this.. you know the this a fantastic restaurant that we are so proud to work at.
A good maitre d’ would transform the venue and in the process train staff into 5 star assets.
However as stated the food experience was great. But for £50/60 a head I think it could do more to convert a good experience into a great one.

Having never been here before wasn’t sure what to expect - have had many wonderful New Year experiences this was something very different - it’s like walking into the best country local but with an amazing gastro pub experience. We stayed overnight -fabulous rooms and nothing was too much trouble... will definitely be coming back. Also (but by no means least) dog friendly so walks and bringing in muddy mutts is expected and welcomed as they have different sections in the bar. An all round winner!!

We are a large family friendly pub, offering a great selection of fine wines, ales and locally sourced food from high quality Herefordshire suppliers. Located at the heart of Much Marcle, our newly refurbished interior oozes that warm, country feel and benefits from warm log fires, an indoor skittle alley a darts area and an outdoor children's play area.
A group of 18 people went to The Walwyn Arms to-day for lunch. A member of staff welcomed us on arrival, the food was absolutely splendid and the service, excellent.
There was a choice of 4 main courses and 3 desserts which were all delicious - couldn't fault it.

Landed late at Heathrow and desperate for a real pint of English beer and called into The Horseshoe pretty whilst passing through Ledbury well on closing time - best landing of the day!! Fine selection of real ale and plumbed for Butty Bach, good choice. When I say "accommodating" they very kindly delayed 'last orders' just for me, now that's what I call a pub!!

Rustic modern British Cafe food. Using local fresh ingredients to create home made meals and cakes. Open for coffee, home made cakes, specialty toasties, amazing soups, light lunches, and dinner Friday and Saturday night.
Stopped in Ledbury for a couple of hours for a coffee and stretch of the legs.Walking along Church Street we perused Mrs Muffins Teashop and the Malthouse. Chose the latter on the basis of the wide range of cakes offered on the board outside. warm and cosy inside with friendly service. Both my wife and I had a scone which was of a decent size and quite nice. The choice of cakes offered on the sideboard did not however seem to reflect the wide offering advertised outside on the board. Maybe they had sold out.
